The Warden of the Everfree forest was a pegasus who lived isolated and alone in the woods, studying the magic of nature until the day a letter from Princess Celestia arrived, assigning him to aid a cartological expedition in the heart of the tropics. Accompanied by a cocky unicorn and a surly ex-royal guard, he now embarks on a journey at sea to map the unknown. What he finds there, on an island brimming with natural magic, may change him, and the world of magic, for years to come.
