I like to go by the name RockingEnd, the username has been with me for the past 7 years... So, since I was like, 8 or something...

First thing you ought to know then, if you haven't already noticed. I'm among the younger few in the fandom, I hope that doesn't alter your opinion of me or my work standard... It's kinda a worry I have.

Anyways, I first got into the show while I was a little down with the way things were going for me. Then an animator that I followed on youtube made a video entitled 'Brownies' which featured a few guys hanging out in the girls isle at a shopping centre talking about MLP. At first I dismissed it as one of the random videos often posted on the site. But that wasn't the last I saw of My Little Pony. About a week or so after that I remembered seeing a flame war about it in a videos comments section. I wasn't really sure what to think... I mean, here are two guys, arguing about a girls show over the internet... But I was compelled to do some research into it, and eventually came across a definition of 'Brony'. My initial reaction to this was something along the lines of "What the fuck?". But for some reason, I felt obligated to give the show a chance, so I did... Needless to say, it has been something I've always been able to come back to for cheering up, whether it be the incredible brony community, some awesome music or videos, some of the awesome fanfics (which I hope to contribute to) or just watching an episode of the show itself... I think it's safe to say that Ponies dictate my life...

Around about the time I ran out of episodes to watch (just after Baby Cakes was released) I began to search up other pony related things and discovered the world of fanfiction (Honestly, I had no idea people made these sorts of things for ANYTHING). The first fic I read was pretty popular at the time, 'My Little Dashie'... Words cannot express how much I loved reading that, and I won't lie, I cried more than once. But after reading that, after seeing how dedicated the fandom really was to this show, I wanted to contribute. Now, I'm pretty awful at drawing, composing, blogging and animating, but I always liked to write. So, I put 2 and 2 and 2 together and came up with this! I think that all in all, it turned out pretty well for a first attempt...

Like I said, it's pretty safe to say that MLP dictates my life... But I think I'm OK with that.

A Changed Town

Canterlot is renowned for its class and sophistication, although after the Changeling attack, the capital city of Equestria seems to be much more on edge than usual. At the centre of this is the Canterlot Royal Guard, the group that polices most of the lands.

Worries of a Changeling presence are high, and nopony knows who they can trust. But when contact from Ponyville halts, everypony fears the worst, and, concerned for the safety of her student and her friends, Princess Celestia sends a group of Guards to investigate.

What I'm Working On

IMPORTANT NOTE: Are there any decent artists who follow me or are reading this who would be willing to draw up some cover art for Judgment's sequel? Cover material was a real pain to come by while I was writing Judgment, and this time I'd like to get something for it before I get three quarters of the way through writing, it didn't work out too well last time.

Sequel To Judgement

Progress:

Ideas: 78%

Plotline: 90%

Current Chapter: Chapter 1

Writing Done: Roughly 15% (I'm aiming for longer chapters now, hopefully between 4000 - 6000 per chapter, I know some of you guys would prefer that)

A Changed Town (This is on hiatus right now, Judgement's sequel has taken priority, and I have been running low on inspiration for this story)

Progress:

Ideas: 35%

Plotline: 95% (I know where I want the story to go, I'm just having trouble getting from point A to point B)

Current Chapter: 5

Writing Done: I'd say about 8%

Where Have I Been? · 7:31am

I thought I mentioned this recently, but as it turns out, I must have forgotten.

The day after releasing the first 3 chapters of my little rewrite of Judgment, I left for Sydney to attend PonyconAU, and have only just returned to my faithful computer. Sorry for neglecting to mention this... I had a brilliant time there, it was so amazing to be surrounded by so many like-minded people.

Now that my collection of pony merch is substantially larger, and my wallet is substantially smaller. I think it's finally time to get back to work. I was glad to see that (most) people hadn't forgotten about Judgment, and (most) people had constructive things to say about the rewrite so far. All in all, I'm happy with my work, and I hope that by the end I still am. More importantly, though, I hope that you guys are all happy with it thus far, and I hope you all share the sentiment later.

I'll (hopefully) have another chapter out in a couple of days or so. But until then, keep the feedback coming guys, I look forward to seeing how this goes.
