I agree with you there. The original story has an arc and is actually a story whereas the other chapters are more of an expansion of the world and the concept.

After the second chapter, I was thinking it may have been better as a one shot, but the third chapter really got me thinking about the possibilities of where this story could go. Now I just wait and see.
