Why the Applebloom avatar? Because I happen to be a karateka (a practitioner of karate) and she's in a gi in the picture. Despite the picture being female, I am male. What else... oh! My username comes from my actual name, Rory, which is an Anglicization of the Gaelic name Ruaidhrí, also spelt Ruairí, or in Scots Gaelic, Ruairidh, or Ruaraidh. It is the name of medieval Irish kings Ruaidrí na Saide Buide and Ruaidrí Ua Conchobair, and means "Red King". Cool eh? I also tend to burble a bit, which I am doing right now, so I shall stop.
