This is a lead up to why I wrote Unforgiven Winter and what I do now and whatnot. This also includes the whole joining the brony brotherhood and whatnot.
So yeah let me first go with what happened and why I wrote this (The story). Simple. I became a brony on January 19th, 2012. Something about the show was just... so relaxing. Adorable clips and videos got me into the show even more (Kyrospawn for example). I was unstable for a while because of how much I loved it. I'm talking I was shouting like a Barbarian going berserk whenever I see something cool or adorable. I then ran into fanfiction readings on YT, one of the most popular being Azekahn. I enjoyed every single thing about the community and fanfictions interested me the most.
I thought that this was a perfect opportunity to start up learning about my potential so I attempted fanfiction readings. A big failure. I was playing Silent Hill one night and told myself, "What if this was all ponified?... bingo" and then that's when the story came in. I wrote concepts about it in early February and then wrote Chapter 1 in mid-March. Finishing it at around 11PM, I was so excited I just released it as soon as I was done editing it. I woke up the next morning to see that it was getting the FAIR amount of popularity as I hoped and I just decided fanfiction writing is my true calling!... it wasn't
As time progressed I found out about clops, slasher-fics, suspension and humor. My FAVORITE author on this website has to be Bill O'rielly. Oh my LORD that asshole writes HILARIOUS stories. He's basically my only motivation to keep writing. Then one time he just... stopped and I lost interest to finish the story despite me being so motivated at first. (BIll is back by the way! He came back last week or so!!!!!!!!)
To be 100% honest when I joined this fandom, I loved it so much I wanted to do ANYTHING I could to contribute, I felt that being just a fan wasn't enough so I discovered new hobbies and talents I never knew I had. I first started off with fanfiction writings, then I did music (strictly guitar and vocals because oh man do I have a Bass voice), then I switched to helping out in the making of "Fallout Equestria" (Games), THEN decided to make plushies (Oh god why), THEN collecting figurines, THEN making pony videos (strictly Source Film Maker, it's going really nice right now) and FINALLY now I do ART.
So I pretty much did just about everything this fandom has to offer and to this day I still do it all. I CAN do voice acting (but nobody wants me ;~;), music (VOCALS ONLY NOW), minor animations (on Source and soon Flash), Fanfictions, and Art. I mainly stick with art and animations for now. From time to time I do fanfictions and to be truthful, I guess this is now just a side thing, not really a main thing.
