Three days ago it was revealed that the developers of My Little Pony: Fighting is Magic had been issued a Cease & Desist letter from the Hasbro legal department.

There has been much outcry, sadness, anger, and (you guessed it) DRAMA resulting from this announcement, and for once its actually halfway justified. There are complexities and issues here that no amount of internet banter will be able to sort out, but I will do this:

A.) Please sign this petition: Mane6 Petition

Its not as pointless as it may seem. There are a lot of us Pony fans out there, and just as many fans of good, high quality video games. If any of that matters even slightly to you, add your name and let Hasbro know.

B.) If you have the professional writing skills to swing it, send Hasbro a letter urging them to allow for the continued development of this totally not-for-profit MLP game. I encourage you to mention the incredible significance this has to the fan base, and emphasize the benefits Hasbro would reap from such a possitive PR move. Be nice, do NOT send hate mail, be coherent. Here is the address:

Hey, I've read through the comments and checked those on EqD, and I see how everyone's worried about the game and is angry at Hasbro and stuff. While I agree that much of the community's frustration toward them is justified, I also think it's important that we remember to show our love and support for those who are still trying to hold it together at Mane6.

Guys, I know we're all in a low spot right now about this. Not only was this going to be an epic game, but what has happened has also reminded many of us that Hasbro has the authority to reach down and yank whatever we're doing in relation to their show away from us at their fancy. can even fully imagine the pain they must be feeling right now about

(potentially) loosing all of their hard work for something they just

wanted to make as a tribute to a show they really loved. They need us right now, and I think we need to stop raging against Hasbro, and bickering amongst ourselves over what the team should do with their game and just be there for them."
