Lyra Heartstrings' instrument of choice is an odd one, for a pony, at least. Then again, she had an odd teacher, too. When that teacher's legacy leads to Lyra being summoned before the High Council of the Griffin Empire, a desperate for work Gilda accepts a job as bodyguard for the unicorn, and the two become involved in events far larger than they ever could have imagined.

One night, an amazing display lit up the sky over Ponyville. A comet, brighter than any in living memory, was making its way through the sea of stars. The residents of the town gathered en masse to witness the spectacle. As was the tradition for such an occasion, many ponies made a wish on the celestial body, hoping that maybe, just maybe, some of them might come true...

The episodic adventures of a pony in the wrong place at the right time, and the friends he picks up along the way.

Amnesia is tricky business. You don't know who you are, and you need to move forward, but how do you do that if you don't have anything behind you to start with? Do you strike out on your own anyway, carving your place in the world from square one? Or do you try to regain what you once had? After all, what's the point in trying to be somepony you're not?

For one unfortunate pony, these questions don't seem to have an easy answer. From the hospital, to the streets, to a new home, he must make his way in the world while deciding what is important in order to move forward, as well as deal with those who would rather he never left square one to begin with...
