"Master English skills"? Excuse me, but I've been speaking English long before I turned one!

Although I agree that we all need to learn how to deal with criticism, I can understand why you would feel a bit discouraged here. People on the internet can be incredibly rude and insensitive, even when they have good intentions wanting to help you. My advice is to to get help from bronies you know IRL or even your English teacher. Writing fanfiction is a skill that does not come naturally to most people. So we all have to start out somewhere.

But I am equally disappointed with the manners of the people on this website. As much as being overly sensitive will not get you many places, neither will being abrasively critical of other's work. That is why I gave up on writing fanfiction altogether. Besides, being able to write fiction is not a required skill, unless you want to work in that field. As long as you can at least master English skills and be able to write cohesive essays, you should be able to get somewhere after high school.

I'm gonna level with you. This is the Internet, no one is safe, few people will take pity on you. Man up or they'll tear you apart.

  I'm not going to insult your stories, to do so would be pointless as I have several stories that have fared worse than yours. I will simply suggest you wait until you have a better grasp on the English language.

Just because you are younger than 14 doesn't mean you can post stories like that. That is not an excuse. I am 13 year old myself and my first story turned out well. But it has 8 dislikes and 19 likes so far. First steps are ALWAYS hard. If you need proof, here.

If you try to improvise by paying attention to those people who are pointing out your flaws, you can become an awesome writer.

Just know that they are trying to HELP you. Not insulting you. Insulting is like "FUCK YOU! YOUR STORY SUCKS! GO FUCK YOURSELF!". That was just an example. I have no intention to insult you.

Hey, sorry if I seem like a bit of a dik on your story. Really, most of us are just there to help you and make you a better writer. Some of us, like myself, are a bit sarcastic and our message might get lost in the insults/jokes.

While I'm still not saying your story is good; I am telling you that I'm here to help you and your writing. So, if you still need help, just ask anyone on your story with a TWE sticker, like myself.

Also, as a word of advice, try to criticism a bit less personal and use it to your advantage.

Heya! I saw the . . . mess . . . going on in the comments to your story, so I thought I'd post this here where you're more likely to see it.

I want to help you. I truly do. I am not a hater or a bully; just a guy at a keyboard who's trying to emulate the characters from my favorite show. So please, listen to what I have to say. You may not agree, but at least know that I mean it sincerely.

Criticism is not the same as hatred or bullying. If somepony dislikes your story, that's their right. If they point out the flaws, they're actually trying to help you: they want you to recognize your mistakes so you won't keep making them. I understand it can be hard to have your story "attacked," but the intent is good.

If you're feeling persecuted - and I don't blame you - don't beg them to stop. That doesn't work IRL and it really doesn't work on the internet, where everyone's anonymous. It makes you look thin-skinned, which will attract trolls with nothing better to do than poke you and laugh. Take the high ground: be polite to those who are rude, and if they won't leave you alone, ignore them. Nothing forces you to deal with people online.

Similarly, saying that you're young or have autism or Asperger's won't help. One of my best friends in the world is a high-functioning Aspie, and he can hold his own with the best of 'em. Justifying or excusing yourself in that way won't work against legitimate criticism, and it won't work against trolls and bullies, so there's no point in saying it.

I happen to be blessed with a thick skin; people insult me and I say "Yeah, whatever" and go on with my life. Not everyone can do that, but it's a valuable trait to pick up online.
