PHYSICS UP IN THIS BITCH! · 12:15am
First off, I would like to apologize about the EXTREME delay in Proper Insanity. I will try to make gaps between chapters much less, next time, if this gap is so large, it will most likely be because a) I'm making a one shot or b)I'm being a major lazy ass. I will try to avoid the latter and promote the former as I don't want this to be my only story. NOW! ON TO PHYSICS!
SONIC RAINBOOM! AN IMPOSSIBLE YET FUCKING PRETTY AND DAZZLING BEAM OF EVERYTHING IN WHITE LIGHT!
>Impossible.
Maybe... but today, I shall explain the physics of a sonic rainboom. If it IS actually possible, these are the factors playing into it.
-speed
-size of object
-relative humidity on day of boom
-other fancy science stuff
ANYHAND! So, if an object was moving so fast, faster than sound by far, it MAY make a sonic rainboom... MAYBE... but, this is how it would work. Once a certain speed was met by a large object on a humid day, the air behind said object would be very thin and the air in front and surrounding the tail would be thick. This thickness in the air, if enough moisture is collected, would then create what would appear to be a rainbow tail. whether there would be a boom would be questionable, but a rainbow tail is not that hard to be true. the boom would most likely be a point where the air in front has became SO dense that it bursts outwards into a doughnut like shape. By this logic, there can be multiple booms and the tail would most likely form before or after the initial boom is reached, or by some super stupid luck, they form at the same time. either way... RAINBOW SPARKLE! (worst shipping name ever... WAY to flamboyant for Rainbow Dash!)
