A Little Update · 7:57am
Okay, I think it's time for me to crawl out of the pit and type something, even if it is only a blog post. So, here you go. Blog post.
First off, a tiny detail I just simply have to mention that doesn't really matter much but I just noticed it an it feels kinda nice to see it there and so on. Today is the day I joined FimFiction officially. So, I have been a member for a single year. This year has been great, even though it has also brought me some problems. Anyways, it's an honor to be a part of this community and I hope my second year will be as incredible, amazing and unbelievable as this first one has been.
Then, after that little necessary thing is out of my head, I can give you some information about my writing situation. I think I have started working on a new story, but it's still quite short (currently stuck at 5000 words) and it's going painfully slowly. I think I might give you some more info about what will happen in that story when I feel like doing so and when it's a bit more complete. All I'm going to give away is that it's multi-chapter one and it has Derpy.
This, as you might see, is a short blog post. If you happen to have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments, I'm willing to answer, pretty much no matter what.

Well, I think that the writers/animators/people who work with the show have been doing some research during the break. Maybe they have found out that derp (and Derpy in this case) are not referring to the people who have some mental handicaps and simply mean doing something clumsy and funny.
I like to wish that there will be an episode where she will have a bigger role and it is being kept hidden from the fandom until the episode airs. Maybe the episode will even air this season.
And as long as this show is still around, I'll never give up hope.

They really should do an episode where we would learn a bit about the other ponies as well. Almost everything we know about the background ponies is based on the fandom's ideas and is not even confirmed in the show.
But progress is being made. Lyra, Vinyl and Derpy are some good examples.
