Yeah, Twixie isn't for everyone. There are a lot who don't like her for that episode. In all honesty, I often pretend most of what happened after season 2 didn't.
With Twilight and Trixie, it's the friction between them. Talent versus ambitions, I suppose. I see a lot of ground for hostility between them, but at the same time, they might have a fair bit in common. I've always been fond of stories with friction between the two sides of the ship. Sunshine and rainbows, and working together to overcome third-party obstacles in the relationship gets stale after a while, I guess.

Oh, there are a few other options for Lunalight… In fact, I definitely plan to do something on the pairing. Eventually.

I need to get Amelioration past act one before I start looking into my other potential projects.

Its cool fimfiction doesnt keep the notifications for long so the by the time you do see them they are gone. I like twicord i consider myself part of the ship so the whole fluttercord/dislestia ship war doesnt seem to affect us twicord shippers. I think dissy and Twi has more chemistry then fluttercord does since Twilight is order and Disord is chaos that makes the ship more fun to write i don't like boring ships that go so well together that there is no conflict. Um if you read Sketcha-holic's fanfics you will see that fanon cheese does have more character then canon so i agree fanon cheese is more flashed out but i love him anyway. I don't care much for twixie sorry i still dont forgive Trixie for taking pinkie's mouth. Another reason i kinda don't like Trixie is because i find Trixie annoying again sorry. As for lunalight i see a one sided crush on twilight's part but i can see lunalight working.

Sorry for such a late reply! It seems FimFiction, or my laptop itself, ate the notification for your message. Strange, and a little annoying.
Hmm, I haven't seen any of season 5 yet. I swore not to watch any of the episodes until I've finished chapter five of Amelioration. But I have seen pictures of said griffon.

As for favorite ships, that's a hard one. I'm not squeamish about same gender relationships, so I see a lot of potential in several pairings. In fact I just recently shared with Bluegrass an old conversation from Skype, where two of my friends and I were joking about different pairings with good potential and why.

Twicord is one of those, in fact. I see good potential between them thanks to the stark differences in their personalities, but sadly I've not seen any stories that do the pairing justice without the use of headcanon.
Sadly, due to the lacking numbers of male character with actual personality, a lot of the ships are ♀x♀. For instance, it may have been how they introduced him, but something about canonical Cheese Sandwich bothered me. Maybe because he felt too much like a Pinkie clone with male anatomy. If his character were fleshed out more, I might come to like the canon Cheese more. But the fanon Cheese and Pinkie pairing does have potential.

Two pairings I find interesting are Twixie and Lunalight. Back when I first joined the fandom, I was introduced to a story that had a really interesting premise to it, and the guy who introduced me to it was a big fan of those two pairings. We spent a lot of time discussing it, and some interesting concepts came up. Maybe one day I'll do something with them.

Ah, before I get too carried away, I better stop. I could go on for quite a while about shipping.
