Tensions grow hotter in the mining town of Farrington after the events of one disastrous night. The fallout from this blaze will test many citizens' relationships in fire. Some will falter, but some may perservere.
Before any repairing can begin, ponies—and one griffin—will have to take stock of their pasts, or else their futures may end up strangled by their scars.

Note: This is a sequel to Summer Days. I strongly encourage reading that story first.
Special thanks to Gaiascope for this awesome cover!
In the capital city of Griffalia, Gilda leads a luxurious life of royalty—even if she doesn't care or know how good she's got it.
When she's suddenly thrust into an arranged marriage with the leader of another kingdom, she's going to have to learn some of the harder lessons of life, about family, and about herself.
This story was written as a commission for yamgoth, as part of the Las Pegasus Unicon Relief League Auctions. Tagged "Alternate Universe" because Sombra got nuked at the end of Season 3, Episode 2.
After her friends leave, Pinkie Pie cleans up a party and remembers the happy memories.
Summer is the perfect season for things that grow. However, growth needs fuel, warmth can burn, and romance can be the most volatile fire there is. After she leaves Ponyville and lands a job as a city guard, Gilda will have summer days that are filled with lessons of growth, of love, and of pain.
This is a sequel to Heart of Gold, Feathers of Steel. I recommend reading that story first.
This story is concluded in Evening Flames
Special thanks to WentoX for this awesome, custom cover.
Friendship lasts forever.
Right?
Three years ago, Gilda and Rainbow Dash became fast friends at Junior Speedsters' Flight Camp. Time took its toll, though, and the pair drifted apart.
When Gilda tries to reconnect with her not-so-long lost friend, she'll discover that things can change a pony after three years: a new home, new job, and new friends.

It should go without saying, but a huge thank you goes out to everyone who actually helped on this project. Special mention goes to Vimbert, someone whose name I don't know...
And of course, Garnot. I can't thank you enough for your efforts put forth into saving this story (technically our story), but if you give me a chance, I'll sure as hell try.
Everyone else: sorry about the downtime. I hope you enjoy the new version.
I can't believe I haven't watched you already! Let me fix that.

Heh. I can dig the armored look for Gilda; she's butch enough in the show that guard work could work out for her if she had a reason to and she could control her temper.
That's a badass design, too; even if the fleur-de-lis makes it a tad French for any of my headcanons, I'm not the authority on "armored gilda," either.
Saw this and thought of you:
