A while ago, I announced that I will start writing Maledictum Insania 2 once I finished the prequel, Maledictum Insania: The Creation.
Although I am not sure how many more chapters I will have to write in order to cover the entire background, it is still save to say that the story will soon end.
To give you a clear indicator:
If you see a chapter called "The Waiting Begins", you can be 100% certain that this is the final chapter of MI:TC.
Now that season 3 is finished, I surely ran into problems, same as most fanfic authors that featured Twilight Sparkle.
While I originally planned to stay as accurate to the show as possible, I now have to entirely ignore her transformation in order to not conflict with the events I set up before. If it helps you, you can imagine MI takes places in an alternate universe of MLP:FiM.
All in all, I am rather disappointed of how little attention I got with the prequel. But I will still finish it.
I can only hope that, once the story line goes forward again, it will get a little bit more attention. Without readers, my efforts are wasted.

I actually very much enjoy reading comments and thoughts and I gladly share mine with others.
So far, I didnt consider to change Fluttershy's appearance. But if you remember the cartoon, the hair only look like she can only see on one side.
Every screen that shows her up front, you can see both eyes and the whole face.
Furthermore, since i have long hair myself, I can confirm out of my own experience that it is false to assume you cant see through hair.
Im glad to hear you found the first chapter so satifying. I will try to finish chapter 2 soon.

Also..... Does Fluttershy's hair still look the same? I don't know, but i think that it's better when you see with both eyes when you're fighting. And if you think about it... she had this haircut because she wanted to hide her face beacuse she was too shy...

Im not a native english speaker myself and although my eyes are trained due to writing now, i didnt see a single mistake.
Anyway, MI2 just started last week.
Ill give it a bit of time, but you are right.
I really, really hope this will turn out to be a bigger success again after the big fail i had with MI:TC
Hey Nero? You should add one more chapter to Maledictum Insania... just to advertise MI 2... Because i don't think it's getting what it deserves.
