Centuries have passed. Celestia, Luna and Cadance are long gone, having ascended to another realm during a time none living can recall. None save one. Twilight Sparkle now rules as Princess of the Equestrian Empire. Under her rule, the nation has thrived for many hundreds of years. But is it the same Equestria that Celestia governed over so many years ago? Or is it something entirely different and new?

This is the first piece in a planned larger set of stories. Each chapter will be another short story set in this world.

Haunted by a great loss from long ago, Celestia once more sets into motion a series of events in hope of undoing the greatest tragedy in her long life. After a millennium of failure, could she have finally found the right pony to make her dream come true?

Diligent Mail Pony Bright Eyes returns from her deliveries one day to discover a strange box and a stranger pony in her garden. No sooner do they make each others' acquaintance then a mechanical army threatens to overtake Ponyville and conquer all of Equestria! Can the Doctor and Bright Eyes overcome the Cyberponies and defeat their mysterious leader, the Robot Unicorn?
