I have a question for any other writers that might see this.
What do you do when have a new story and your setting up new characters or pre existing ones and you find that you don't know what direction your story will go in?

I am writing a HIE, and I'm a brand new writer and I feeling like I have no idea what I'm supposed to do even though I've been thinking about story ideas for a good long while now but I've completely hit a writers block.
