Fantastic convention! At least 10x better than last year, and last year was awesome too. I loved meeting everyone there and getting to talk to everyone. (and meeting a big inspiration of mine in the fanfic realm, Vargras. I'm still squeeing like an overactive fangirl).
Can't wait till next year!

Five slots open, and we are on a first come first serve basis. Reserve now! (I'd make the Flim Flam brothers proud)

Whelp, it is getting to that time of year again. I'm really excited for Trotcon and Bronycon! (yes, I'll be at both)
If any of y'all will be there, be sure to look me up! I love talking to everyone, and I'll be pretty easy to notice in the crowd.
Alright, that is all. Laters!

P.S. The ponies in the picture are Rarity and PeanutBucker (trotcon/Ohio Bronies mascot)
I love this place, but I need to rediscover my inspiration to write. I know I've said I was going to focus on other writing/art projects, but my mind keeps wandering back wanting to finish these stories... and I can't.
I've tried re-reading them, and only get half way through. Most of the chats I'm in no longer really focus around ponies [not a problem, just inconvenient when I'm looking for my fiction muse]. And I tend to just sit and stare at a page for hours instead of writing anything... since I have no clue where I was going with the story originally. My planning Gdoc died on me, so much of my planning is lost in cyberspace.

Which sucks... a lot... bleh...
Anyone have any advice on how to get back onto my hooves and get on the ball writing my stories again? Or should I just start another one and use it to try and jump start the creative energy again?
Your struggling Author,
-Midnight
P.S. you are not my only hope, but I want to hear opinions/advice from my long neglected readers. [sorry]

Had to do a quick sketch because I was just too mad to do anything else reasonable…
Here is the story. My work has constantly given me promises and has also broken every single one. First one was I would get ‘x’ amount of hours when I was first hired. But, after training, I got 1/3 of those ‘promised hours’.
Then, they offered me a new position, but would get ‘x+5’ hours. I said, heck! that is more than you said I’d get before. Downside was I would lose a 25 cents if it got it. Well, I took the new position since the hours they promised would more than enough to make up what I would lose per hour. Unfortunate, I was only scheduled 1/2 of those promised hours. But that was okay, since I was able to earn enough to pay off most of my bills. It wasn’t the best, but it was adequate until I could find a new job.
They next promised me I would get more hours come summer since our business gets dramatically busier. Just a few days ago, I was told that we should expect more hours soon since, guess what, our business has picked up. Well it did, and when I went in to check my schedule today… I’m working 1/2 of what I was working before. Aka, back to where I started in the first position but with a 25 cent cut.
And I’m really mad because of it! I have a ton of bills to pay soon, and some pretty large investments in two conventions. I have to cancel my plans for the others I wanted to go to, but those other two are already booked and half paid for. Now I’m worried I won’t have the money to pay the rest off without going into my savings.
But good news about this entire s***storm of a job, I have more time to focus on art and writing. And I am also planning on starting commissions soon. I just need to make the chart of what I can do and the prices. I’ll make a post for it on my tumblr when I finish it.
Overall though, this entire situation sucks…
P.S. The pic was stress relief. It calmed me down quite a bit.
Whelp, to day I'm 24. Woo...
eh, I don't really get excited for my birthday anymore. It is just another number for me to call myself. But, since it is a special day, I'll post a good pony pic for y'all!

Best birthday gift ever!
Your old author,
-Midnight
and I have finally finished this:

Ok, shameless promotion of art. Meh.
Story updates: Not sure when the next one will be. I have been swamped with work recently and have not had much time to do anything creatively (minus above art. I had the day off). So my time to write has been very slim... at best.
Sorry for not being able to give you any good news right now on the stories.
But for some good news, I have booked my room at Bronycon and Trotcon! So y'all will defiantly see me at both conventions!
And... that is it...
Bleh... boring blog... If y'all have any questions for me, don't be afraid to ask.
Your Fairly Dull Author,
-Midnight
I'm on a doc now writing out a story. Pop in if you want to chat. I love to talk and enjoy any feedback you might have.

Whelp. Lets get to writing!
P.S. This is not Stone Cold. It is another story I've played around with.
One year ago yesterday I started Stone Cold... I didn't even realize that till today... wow. Time sure flies when you are having writers block...
That is it for now.
