    ...Fuck.

    *Facepalm*

Really Microsoft? Your 'big reveal' is that I can admire CoD's new German Sheppard texture while using Internet Explorer to Bing how to 100% the game, then Skype my friends while watching a movie and ordering Pizza Hut, and I can do it all in my cramped living room using a shitty motion control sensor that I am thoroughly convinced is a spy camera, what with its ability to read my god-damn HEART RATE and MUSCLE STRESS?

I'll stick with my PC, thank you very much. It also has 8 gigabytes of RAM, not to mention 2 Gigs DDR5 (Really, really fast in case you were wondering) dedicated to graphics alone. Also, I can play a game, use FIREFOX/CHROME to GOOGLE things if I need to, Skype-chat my friends, order a pizza, browse twitter, do my homework, and fucking anything else I could possibly think of all AT THE SAME TIME using ACTUALLY DECENT controls.

And it doesn't cost extra to play used games, access the internet, watch TV, use that voice-activated shit that people will rarely use (except maybe 'Xbox, go home', and even then only to make the inevitable 'you're drunk' joke), and duel-tasking.

Oh yeah, and I don't have to keep my old computer every time I upgrade- there are backwards compatibility bridges built into most machines, and if I need a certain one that isn't built in, I can GOOGLE some to download.

    TL;DR

IT'S A PIECE OF SHIT. But I'll probably end up buying it in a couple years, once some good games have been released on it. Also Halo 5. I just gotta.

Watchdogs looks amazing, by the way. Kudos to you Ubisoft! You know what's up!

ADDENDUM: I'm a little calmer now, so I will add that I'm mostly upset at the almost total lack of gameplay and info on new games. A lot of the Xbox One's features aren't actually all that bad. They're just vague and unfinished, probably because the console is still in development.

Oh yeah, by the way Microsoft, 'later this year' is NOT AN ACCEPTABLE TIME FRAME. By ANY means. At all. Seriously, why not just say, "we're still in the process of developing and refining these features." I'd be cool with that; it means I'm getting a decent console!

So, off to a decent start then! I'm glad people are enjoying my story so far, but I have to admit that I absolutely despise writing the first chapter of a story. It's always been the most difficult part of the process for me, which is why I've only ever written two stories (actual number is four, but I don't usually talk about those two because they're both only two chapters long and they both suck more than a black hole).

Back on topic! In my opinion, the 'prologue' will be one of the weakest chapters I will write, so I hope everyone else feels the same way!

Finally, I have here a snippet of the upcoming chapter that I wrote out but decided not to use because I couldn't make it fit with the flow of that part of the chapter and speaking of flow this sentence has carried on long enough I think so let's just get right to it.

The windowless structure had originally been intended to house a large portion of Equestria’s then-experimental technologies, but halfway through its construction, most of the involved parties had decided that an open-air environment would be better suited to their needs, and withdrew their support for its construction. The structure, incomplete and bare, was put up for auction, but its isolated location and unappealing aesthetics turned away any and all potential buyers.

The building sat empty for over twenty years before finally catching the eye of several Canterlot officials who were seeking an alternative to the capital's traditional dungeons. Construction and restoration quickly followed, and the structure was soon upgraded from its original three-story plan to the five-story monstrosity it had become widely known for being.

So there you have it, a small rough edit of a hopefully not-too-revealing cut take, a la mode.

...I feel as if I've forgotten something...

    OH YES OF COURSE!

I was going to say that this story's actual title is 'Paradoxum  Infīnitās', but I didn't know if it would show up properly to everyone because of the special symbols, so I simplified it a bit.

...That's not considered copyright infringement, is it? I hope not.

    'Ello!

...That's all. Go away now. Not really.

My humor is about on par with Tobuscus, so don't expect much in these blogs (BURN BICHES!).
