While I was working on Spike's Spike, a late-night movie was broadcasted on the television. And I watched it while writing the story, and it was one of the most random, hilarious, utterly nonsensical movies I have ever seen.

The movie was called "Mom", a 1980s/early 1990s flick about a 70 year old-something mother becoming a Vampire.

Yeah, I'm serious. And here's the kicker: the movie was meant as a serious drama/horror. But as we all know a movie about a Vampire Grandma could only come off as a comedy. Trust me. It was.

"Mom" is literally one of the most bizarre films I have ever seen (I have seen A LOT of films). But I must admit that it is AN EXPERIENCE! I would recommend this film to anyone just to allow them the opportunity to experience a piece of cinematic history that attempted to be recognized as serious artwork.

So how about I give you a tiny review? Then you can hit the Internet and check it out for yourself.

Okay, so the movie starts off on Chistmas Eve. There is this woman sitting at some random bus-stop/ rest-stop/ gas station / "hey, let's place a den in the middle of nowhere", and she offers this bottle of liquor to a bald, sunglasses-wearing guy in all black standing ominously in the corner. Oh, and it's around 11 p.m. at night, so, yeah, the guy DEFINITELY doesn't appear shady in any way. *cough* Anyway, the guy ignores the girl, and she keeps pestering him to take a drink. By her words "It's Chistmas Eve, after all. I'm just offering a drink.". The guy finally gets sick of her annoying pestering, so he walks right up to her, grabs her by the neck, drags her to the middle of the desert, rips off her clothes and sinks his teeth into the bratty woman.

Then comes the opening sequence. I kid you not, the movie was trying to come off as an Oscar contender. The title credits just gives you that feel.

Anyway, we meet the "Mom" of the movie. She is this old woman who ends up getting turned into a Vampire by the "sunglasses-wearing guy", and she is trained by him to feed on the humans.

Throughout the film the son of the Vampire Grandma tries to tie her up her room, trying to figure out what to do. The poor guy has no idea, and random people (police officer, homeless people, prostitute, daughter, etc.) just get eaten up by the Old Bag.

The movie has transformations, so the Old Woman becomes this "Monstsr-looking thing" complete with make-up and everything.

The entire movie is a laugh-fest, filled with so many inconsistencies, flaws, and WTF moments that you just have to check this movie out. I seriously enjoyed it as a comedy, even though it tried to come off as dramatic thriller/horror.

The movie has blood, boobs, guns and explosions. All because of this Grandma Vampire.

So watch out!

What are some hilariously bizarre movies you have seen?

I have just completed outlining Spike's Spike and Spike's Cheerilee, and I am extremely excited about them!

They are officially Green-Lit, and here is the order of the stories I shall post:

First will be Spike's Spike (Genre - Comedy) (One-Shot)

Next will be Spike's Cheerilee (Genre - Romance / Adventure) (Three-Four Chapters - As I outlined it, the story became a short epic.)

After those two, I shall return to complete Spike's Rainbow Dash! (I guess my "rest" actually meant "WRITE OTHER STORIES IN BETWEEN!".)

Spike's Daring Do is still there. But it must be after Spike's Rainbow Dash. Authoring two epics at the same time is tiring for the mind.

Hello, fellow readers. First off, I thank you all for your comments, criticisms and support for the writing pieces I've posted. The comments do inspire as well as provide ideas for new stories.

The following are a few questions I've been asked. So I've decided to answer them in this blog post.

So let's get started, shall we?

1. Dude, what's with the username? Wtf is a "MallaJong"?

"MallaJong" came to me while I was thinking about a username for a YouTube account years ago. At the time, my old television was broadcasting Xiaolin Showdown (that one Cartoon Network show about ancient artifacts), and there is an antagonist in show called "Malla-Malla-Jong". One of the characters of the show said the name, and after hearing it I went "Eh, why not?". So "MallaJong" was born.

2. How old are you, anyway?

I am nineteen years old. I love being able to still call myself a teenager! I can get away with things I will probably not be able to as easily when I turn twenty. I'll have to adjust somehow when that time comes. :)

3. So you're a So-Cal Brony, huh? What part of So-Cal?

I live in the LBC!!! Long Beach, baby! Yeah! Southern California, USA!

4. Alright, alright. So what's with all the "Spike's_____"? You got a crush on Spike or something?

Okay, you caught me. Spike is, in fact, my favorite character of My Little Pony. But I wasn't really hiding it. I mean, over half my posted stories star Spike as the protagonist. When I watch the show, I am always laughing at every one of Spike's lines. I truly believe he's the coolest character of the bunch. And I really like Vinyl Scratch because I am party animal, so that's saying a lot. To put it bluntly: Spike's not a dragon. He's a SWAGon. I just feel he needs to have his day in taking home all the mares.

5. So why the title "Spike's____"? What does that mean exactly?

The apostrophe after Spike is possessive. Therefore "Spike's Rainbow Dash" means "Rainbow Dash of Spike" or, as I like to put it in my mind, "The Rainbow Dash that is most appealing to Spike". It's not that Spike owns the character. It is more about how the character develops to Spike's fondness. In my latest story "Spike's Luna", the readers are shown such development. But, of course, it could actually be Spike's mare. Kind of like a "See that alicorn? Yeah, she's my alicorn.". It's similar to saying "That's my woman.". It's really all for the reader's interpretation in the end.

6. What's coming in the future?

I am not sure. I hope to finish "Spike's Rainbow Dash" soon. I am still awestruck by the popularity it's recieved. I'm thinking about making "Spike's____" a series with different mares filling the blank. Like a "Spike's Series". Don't expect anything out of this, but I have been thinking about a "Spike's Pinkie Pie", though I have no idea what the plot would be. Who knows, though?

7. Which shipping is your favorite?

Well, originally Spike x Luna has been my favorite ship ever since I saw "Luna Eclipsed". Though I do love some of that Sweetie Belle. She is definitely my favorite Cutie Mark Crusader, and that "ship spark" scene with Sweetie Belle and Spike dancing at the Wedding touches my heart. Especially because I love dancing!

8. That's right! You're a dancing machine, aren't you?

If there's music, I'm usually dancing to it. I enjoy traveling and dancing anywhere I can at any time I can. :)

9. Any last words for the peeps?

I've said it many times already, but I have one primary motivation for tackling these shippings. I just want others to explore unchartered territories, because I truly feel if you search enough, you're bound to find something beautiful. Also, keep writing! Don't stop doing what you love!

10. Those last few lines were cliche, you know that?

I just finished Part Two of Embers, and I am announcing that it will be published by 11 p.m. Pacific Coast Time. It is purely Spike and Rainbow Dash, and it finally dips into the "romance" tag. I will also state that I will not be updating chapters as quickly as I have been. I have been able to author about eight installments nonstop, but now I want to rest. Hopefully you guys enjoy it! I recently requested that my story be featured on Equestria Daily, and I was sent back a message stating that the site has regulations against "minor" ships with adults. According to Equestria Daily, the "minor" in the case of Spike's Rainbow Dash is Spike. I found myself baffled due to the fact that Spike, although a minor in age, is often the voice of reason within the group of the Elements of Harmony. Shouldn't Spike be seen past that of a "minor" and more of an influential character that demonstrates maturity? I know Spike has his moments of immaturity, but so does everypony is the series. Whether it is Applejack or Twilight Sparkle, we've seen in countless instances the very essence of childlike behavior embedded into their personality. Of course, these are shown to provide for more complex material when referring to their role as characters overall.

My main concern is this: Am I the only one who thinks this? Is Equestria Daily correct to outlaw "minor" ship fics?

What are your thoughts on Equestria Daily in general? I'd love to know. Thank you for any feedback.
