It's been half a year since I released Happiness Lies. Quite many things have happened since that time, including a serious period of depression, increased responsibilities, you name it. I could whine about it, but I won't.
For those of you still waiting patiently on Chapter three, don't worry. I have every intention of continuing it - if anything, to give some closure to the story, knowing that right now I might have trouble continuing with that particular project due to its massive size and complexity. I have about a third of it completed as it is, but haven't touched it in nearly eight weeks.
I'm trying to get warmed up with another, shorter project, so hopefully I can get back into HLAR at full strength.

Hey, it's alright and I appreciate the support. I'm not entirely proud of being unproductive with my writing, either (although I've been drawing more in the past six months than in the past two years combined).
I'm the type who functions in seasons, y'know? Right now I'm very interested in writing again, and will do quite a bit of it, no worries.
HLAR 3 is in the oven, cooking slowly, but surely.

I've always been a person of seasons - they come and go with little warning and cycle as time goes by. Over the period of a few weeks, I may feel like playing games, then writing, then drawing, the cycle simply continues endlessly.
The story was moved to Hiatus because I missed my target two months between chapters, a milestone I set on myself to try and accomplish, and wasn't sure it would even be close to that. It's not cancelled, far from it.

Please give us a little hope for the future of this little gem of a story. I know RL can sometimes need some involvement and your chapters are the biggest and longest I've seen here (and quite long to write) but can't you find a little time for us readers???
