Mike, a not so bright Dominion officer in the Koprulu sector is tasked with many objectives. Namely those with great danger and slim chances of success. Not because he's fit for them, but because his superiors actually want to get rid of him for several reasons.

He was tasked with defeating a protoss expeditionary fleet one day, but everything went south as he experienced a rather common tactic firsthand. Normally he'd have endured and pulled through, but there was something that stopped him and sent him to another dimension entirely. That 'something', obviously, was a bad Koprunet(tm) connection.

(This fanfic takes more emphasis on the gameplay aspects of Starcraft 2 rather than the lore. Expect to see things that'd normally be impossible otherwise.)

The Terran, having no idea what happened, sees a city in the distance; he decides to travel there and find out what happened to him, but upon arriving he sees that this city was abandoned recently...or was it?
