Hello Everybody, my name is KJ250, but I really just go by KJ. The K stands for Kelly, however, I am a dude...just so there's no confusion.

Been a brony since my 18th birthday. (Feb. 2nd of 2012) And love just about everything in this fandom! Never thought I'd be involved in an internet subculture, but then again, I also never thought I would love a show featuring cute colorful ponies. When I'm not working on stories, I'm usually playing Xbox LIVE, dealing with school/work, hanging out with friends, etc. The stories I write-in my own opinion-may be.......okay, I'm not one to gloat about my own work, but I greatly appreciate all of the feedback, criticism, and support I've gotten from everyone.

For anyone wondering who dan789 is...he's a non-brony friend of mine who joined Fimfiction because we had an idea a long time ago about doing a self insert with him and myself. (Just a side note; I hate hate HATE the fact that I'm doing a self insert, not that I don't enjoy writing the story, but it gives me an odd feeling of "self-centered...ness" that's hard to shake.) Even though I know that isn't why I wrote it, it still bothers me from time to time, but I never let it dwell. I orginally wanted it to be along the lines of a second person fic, but for reasons now forgotten, it ended up being what it is. I know a lot of people piss and moan about self insert stories, but I believe as long as it's done well, then there shouldn't be a reason not to give it a chance.

Well, enough about that mess, here's best pony...

Sorry for the cryptic title, but it's kind of true. I just thought I'd let you guys know what's been holding me up recently. College classes for Spring quarter have started up, and English class... let me tell you, English class pulls no punches when it comes to handing out assignments, so that's kept me more than busy. On a more negative note, quite frankly, I've simply lost a lot of what drives me to write. While I'm unsure of why I feel this way, or where it came from, it's definitely affecting me. I think about working on my pieces and I just cringe, since lately it just feels like a chore. Again, I don't know why I feel this way, but I've been waiting for it to pass. Maybe this has happened to someone else, and they can give me advice, but until I can get this feeling out of my head, I don't think I'd be producing my literary best while in this mindset.

Sorry for making you guys wait on me, I know that quite a few of you have been anticipating the next chapter of The Trotting Dead. However, I have had an offer in the past from one of my readers to take over the story (since I was absent for a while) and if I can't get out of this funk, then that might be the best thing for the fiction. Let me know what you guys think, and I apologize sincerely for all of the trouble. Thank you, though, everyone for all of your support, patience, and understanding!
