    There are People · 12:39am

We know them. We miss them.

They might be gone, but they're still there. Never stop remembering them. Never forget.

Though they may be gone, they can never die so long as we hold fast their memories and never let go.

All the Sunshine Richardsons, all of the Emmerich Kelleches, they're still here, whether we know it or not.

Yes, today I'm being a bummer, but still...

Don't forget. Those that we've lost will always remain in our hearts.

I'm sorry, Sunny. You deserved better.

Yeah, like the title said, thank you.

This one goes out to everyone reading Psychedelica - Pastel Ponies specifically.

Let's be honest, it's my favorite story to write. I basically form it as a list of odd conversations framed around even odder events.

Consider it my torture for Jeremy. It's the best torture for him without being outright mean.

    I just...

It comes from the heart, you know? And I'm sure this sounds like it's coming from the story, but hey, Jeremy is an expy of me, so it's to be expected. He's me. I'm insane. Or I'm drunk. Or I'm both.

    Whatever.

All I know is that Jeremy has more ahead of him.

    Much more.

Ponies or no, there's a great, big world ahead of him that I wish I could explain right now. Unfortunately, I have a story to work on.

Hopefully, no one has a question while I work on this.

    Thank You · 1:21am

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. To everyone who has read my works, thank you. All I want to do a vast majority of the time is write. I have bills to pay with things like roofing and doing plumbing, and still I write. Every time I have spare time, I write. It's my passion. It's my love. I still don't think I'm good at it, but dammit if it's not what I want to do from now until time comes to a stop.

    And yeah, I'm drunk.

But still, the thanks are no less sincere.

To everyone following me and to everyone following particular stories I've written, thank you. I write them because, in my insane mind, they need to be written. Somewhere deep in me, there's a need to write what I think, and ponies / people like Jeremy keep coming up. It's... hard to explain. I just see a world in my head and I want to create it. The fact that all of you have continued to follow me in this, despite all the plot holes and continuous references just astounds me.

    So thank you.

I'm not anywhere near done yet. There's more for Jeremy to do. Much more. It's just so hard to believe that anyone would enjoy the shit that comes out of my imagination.

I just... I just want you all to know that I'm thankful. You write because you love writing, but knowing that others appreciate it still helps. Makes me feel less crazy, you know?

    Short blog entry today, yo.

I'm just wondering how best to convey a fragile mind through narrative exposition. People tend to think schizophrenia works only in the extremes, which isn't really the case, but I'm struggling to think how best I can portray a high-functioning schizophrenic pony (most likely from a first-person perspective, mind you).

Because being climbing-up-the-walls crazy is easy, but anchoring yourself down to what society calls "sane" despite your mental fragility is hard. Really, really hard.

    Regarding Alicorns · 6:59pm

I've gotten this question a few times ever since Jeremy sprouted his horn, Chia Pet style, so I thought I'd clear things up:

No, Billy, he's not going to get wings too. Calm down and do the dishes. Your mother and I are very disappointed.

See, unless they're villains that you plan on throwing in front of a particularly large bus at some point, I'm not much for alicorn OCs. Using an alicorn as your protagonist just presents too many opportunities for them to turn into Superman, this unstoppable powerhouse that nobody has a chance at defeating (unless they've got some Equestrian kryptonite stashed in their Mare-do-Well costume somewhere). And sure, it'd be cool to give them that kind of power so they could fight on equal footing with something even scarier, some H.P. Lovecraft monstrosity that just so happened to waltz into the land of colorful ponies on its way to the kitchen, but that's sketchy too. How strong is too strong? How Lovecraft is too Lovecraft? How many universes can be crossed-over before the whole thing becomes one enormous clusterfuck of uberly-strong dudes duking it out for the sake of all mankind and a chance at getting laid?

Uh, I think that one might have gotten away from me a bit.

I do plan on Jeremy practicing magic at some point and finding the bobblehead needed to max out his Intelligence stat, but I don't want to just give him the winning ticket to the superpower lottery. That'd be too easy. Besides, since he's an expy of myself, he'd probably bitch and moan at me for doing it too.

I know I would. Or am... Or... um...

Other characters are a bit trickier though. Twilight, for example. Even as a unicorn, she's already pretty overpowered; the best unicorn wizard in Equestria or some shit, right? Throw her a pair of wings and a +1 mace and she probably could have defeated Raszagal in "A Mad Dash Through Time and Space" all on her own (not that Rainbow Dash didn't rustle his evil jimmies to the max in the end anyway, but that's a whole different bowl of monkeys). She's smart, she's cunning, and even with her magic restricted I hear she can whip up a mean casserole.

Plus I kind of gave her some chaos magic too. Whoops.

Unpopular or not, I do plan on following the route of the show (to... an extent) and have her reach alicornhood. Given that I threw Doctor Who and Torchwood into the mix too, at least there should be a few things capable of giving her a run for her bits regardless. Maybe a giant disembodied hand that likes to play with ponies as toys and force them to fight each other for its own amusement.

Or maybe I'm playing too much Nintendo Wii?

Whatever, there will be alicorns, but Jer won't be one of them. He'll be the guy off to the side, quoting TV Tropes articles, and making fun of them. Probably.

And with all of that out of the way, I can get back to more writing / Fallout: New Vegas / vodka. Joseph Raszagal, over and out!

    *Spoilers*

    ...

Ye've been warned! [Cue spooky thunder and lightning.]

    ...

So I have Twilight, made immortal after the events of "A Mad Dash Through Time and Space"... She's started Equestria's own Torchwood branch.

There's no way the geek in me will let me not use that.

The problem I'm running into is how to use Jeremy in all of that. I have some adventures planned out already that he'll take part in, but the Doctor Who fan in me just won't quit nagging at me to make some of them Timey Wimey. I have a few ideas, but some of them require more crossovers... which is completely awesome with me, but you know. We don't all like the same things.

So, anypony out there a fan of Donnie Darko? How about Equestrian celebrities?

In other news, involving Jeremy specifically, I'm looking for some input. I know some of the people reading would like to see him relapse at least once. Others wouldn't. So, for sake of either drama or humor, does anyone think I should go a specific route? I'm fine with writing either and I'll probably do both regardless and just post the one I think will progress the story the best.

Outside of that, have a great night and sleep well! Joseph Raszagal, out! :pinkiesmileiknowitdoesn'tworkherebutwhatever:

    Thanks · 1:39am

This one goes out to everypony who has favorited Psychedelica - Pastel Ponies. I've had a lot of fun writing this ever since I first started, but I never imagined this many people would have this much fun reading it. Makes a stoner proud to smack the keyboard with his hands whenever he's not playing Star Wars Battlefront 2.

I've got more adventures planned for Jer in the realm of Equestria B, and maybe some ridiculous stuff that gets convoluted to the point of possibly receiving extreme backlash at some point, but I hope you'll enjoy it just as much all the same.

    Thanks for reading, everypony!

Alright, trying to keep these somewhere around or within the original canon is getting difficult, especially with the new season 3 finale. So, in lieu of that, here's the timeline!

1 - Before the first episode:

    None, thus far.

2 - Before "The Return of Harmony":

    None, thus far.

    3 - Before "A Canterlot Wedding":

    "Unconventional Family Trees" [Complete]

"Psychedelica - Welcome to the Party" [Complete]

"A Mad Dash Through Time and Space" [Complete]

    "The Pantheon Thins" [Complete]

    "Contemplating Forever" [Complete]

    "A Sense of Belonging" [Complete]

    "Heritage" [Unwritten as of yet]

3 - Before "The Crystal Empire":

"Psychedelica - Pastel Ponies (The Absurd Adventures of Jeremy Robin, Part 1)" [Incomplete]

Sooooo many ideas bouncing around in my head as to what I'll do with Alicorn Twilight. I already sort of gave her superpowers, so becoming a Princess is going to make her even more powerful. I've been planning a final fight at the end of this canon for a while, but with an immortal goddess who's a magic savant on their side, it doesn't really look like the good guys could possibly lose. Eh, I'll figure it out!

After spending some time thinking, it dawned on me that if I'm going to keep a flowing timeline with the stories that all occur within the Equestria B universe, why the heck shouldn't the characters have theme songs?

Now they do! Well, some of them, anyway.

    Equestria B · 11:01pm

Alrighty, I'll try to keep this as short and as not tl;dr as possible.

This is something that I've been working on hammering out for a while now. Almost all of my submissions, excluding "Pony Poems / Songs" (and even a few exceptions there), all occur within the same universe and canon. Equestria B is kind of a multiverse that contains the canon of a whole bunch of different universes that appear in popular media, including the canon of the aforementioned fanfics that I've written.

In the past, I've added a little statement before some of the stories explaining that the other stories aren't really necessary to read in order to get the proper context, but all things considered, it looks like I'm going to be writing a bunch of fics for this multiverse that I've ramshackled together. So, in order to get the full context, here's the order the stories should be read in:

1 - "Unconventional Family Trees" [Complete]

2 - "Psychedelica - Welcome to the Party" [Complete]

3 - "A Mad Dash Through Time and Space" [Complete]

4 - "The Pantheon Thins" [Complete]

    5 - "Contemplating Forever" [Complete]

    6 - "A Sense of Belonging" [Complete]

7 - "Psychedelica - Pastel Ponies (The Absurd Adventures of Jeremy Robin, Part 1)" [Incomplete]

8 - "Heritage" [Unwritten as of yet]

Hope that clears things up a bit and makes navigating the stories a little easier. I'll update this post as I add more stories and whatnot. Hopefully I'll be able to smack my keyboard silly and create a whole bunch more walls of text to submit. Thanks for reading and have an excellent day, everypony!
