I'm looking for experienced writers to look over the first part of the first chapter of what will be "Until You Met Her: 365". This would require basic checking for grammar and spelling errors, and also offering suggestions on who to better flow, syntax, characters, things like that. I also have another, non pony story, that would require the same work. If you want to do this, keep in mind I am looking for someone who is dependable, and can turn out results in a few days. let me know if this sounds like you.

Not much to say today, working on the first chapter as fast as I can, but it looks like it's still a few days out. School is winding down and I have to worry about finals for the next few days. Also, I start work in a week, but I will hopefully have this chapter done by then, hopefully by the middle of this week.

It took me way to long to come up with that title, when it sounds like end product of what happens when someone ingests cake frosting, jelly, and pure cane sugar all mixed together in a blender filled with mountain dew.

Anyways, for the first time in a while, I have absolutely no work to do over this weekend. Seriously, with one week left towards finals, I don't have any work to worry about. I'm absolutely free! Free! FREE HAHAHAHA! AHAHAHAHAHA! MWAHAHAHAHAHA! I AM FREE! FREE!

Anyways, I was saying I have absolutely no work to do. So, with this free time, I will be working on my promise of a sequel here, "Until You Met Her 2: Striking Out" and also "The Bloody Seven" over on my tumblr. I don't think I have to tell you the blood seven is totally not a pony story. It's foray into horror using a pretty generic plot, but still a fun way to get my hands wet.

Since the first chapter of the sequel is already written out mostly, I will typing it up and tweaking it most of today. I have also decided on including a special... surprise for this story that I came up with after reading a lot of the comments on the first one. I'm not going to say what it is because a) its a surprise, and b) i said it's a goddamn surprise! but in order to prepare for it, I am holding an AMA over at my tumblr, monstergenesisredux.tumblr.com I encourage any of you with questions to head on over there and ask them. If you don't have question about the story, Hey it's an AMA, ask whatever you want. I will say that this is your chance to provide input before the firs chapter is finished. So if that tickles your fancy, come on over and drop me a line. Who knows, you might even get lucky and your questions could make it's way into the story.

It's really weird to have stopped writing pony, and then immediately start back up again. What's even weirder is that, even after having cut myself off from the fandom, it was really, really easy to get back into the writing. Like, scary easy. Almost like I never stopped. Several pages of my writing idea journal are now filled with story drafts and ideas, which is really weird considering that notes from a zombie story and "The Bloody Seven" story I run on my Tumblr are right on the opposite side of them. I also have a couple doodles and some nonsense gibberish, but that is neither here nor there. I'm actually working pretty fast, with several chapters planned out, and almost a full one drafted. After I finish this I'm going to switch on the tv, look for a some scary movies and basically just draft and write until my Girlfriend gets home.

One thing I will warn you all about is that I watched nothing of season three. I guess moving into my own house just kinda pushed that all to the side and I lost interest. Also because the new Doctor Who season started again and Oh my god it has been fantastic. Hide wasn't the best episode, but it was ok, and if that's as bad as the season gets then it will still be fantastic. The ending redeemed it though. That all being said, I have no idea how much the lore has changed, and I kinda don't have the time/ i'm to lazy to go watch it all, so if someone wants to fill me in down at the comments, that would be great. Just so I don't mess anything up.

As for those who are wondering what I have been up to in my absence, a lot has changed. I moved into a new house, with my girlfriend, been finishing up my fourth year of college and still no closer to a degree. Recently I got a job working Tech support for apple, and I also got two dogs. I may have mentioned some of this already, but oh well.

I'm not going to say when the story will be up (jesus I havn't said those words in forever) but If I am lucky and sat down to work right now, I could probably have it done tonight. We will see.  

Users Mick Muffin and Mr. Yoke reminded of something that I had forgotten. In the anticipation of a new Tumblr and such, I forgot the most important rule of writing, and that is to write because you want to, not because you have to. I forgot why i started writing in the first place. I forgot that I had something good here, and I also forgot how many of you put up with me and my nonsense. But perhaps most importantly, I forgot that you guys were not just followers. You were friends. All 464 of you. And friends don't treat friends like commodities, or bargaining chips.The only reason my first story was successful in the first place was because you guys took the time to read it and tell me what you thought of it. You guys started me on the road to where I am now, and to hold a promise of something so many of you have asked for over your heads with arbitrary conditions is unfair, and it reflects poorly on my part. For that, I am sorry. I owe you guys a lot, and because of that I am calling off the "100 tumblr followers" contest. I want 100 followers, but I don't NEED 100 followers. You should follow me because you want to, not because I promised you something.

So, without further ado, I would like to announce that I, John Bon Pony, AKA Mongen, have began work on the long awaited Until You Met Her Sequel, "Until You Met Her: Striking out." I hope you all find this to your liking. The first chapter will be up within 24 hours.

So for reasons beyond my control, I had to shut down my old Tumblr account. (Yes, the one that man of you started following). Luckily however, I managed to recreate it in the same night. Now, I know I have asked a lot of you guys in the past, and I will understand if you do not wan to do this, but I am coming to you here with a proposal. I want to run a successful Tumblr, but to do that I need followers. So I sat down and worked out an idea that I thin will please many of you and benefit everyone. As you know, I still check in here from time to time, and one of the things I still see a lot is people asking for a sequel to "Until You Met Her", even though I said there would not be one. However, after lot's of thinking, I came up with the following conclusion

I still enjoy writing, and that is what my Tumblr is about. But writing is no fun if no one is around to read it. If I can get 100 followers by 12:am on May 3rd, I will temporarily come out of retirement and begin work on a "Until You Met Her" sequel. This will not be a fast sequel, or a rushed one, but a REAL sequel, the Sequel that you guys rightfully deserve. Just to show you I am serious, I will even watch the entirety of season 3 just to make sure my lore is up to date. Right now, my Tumblr is up, but nothing has been posted yet, as I am still working out the kinks in the new set up, so it's the perfect time to follow me before I begin updating it this Friday (tomorrow).  

So if you guys are serious about wanting a sequel, start following now. I can tell you that I have total faith in you guys to make this happen, and that I have already started to conceptualize how the sequel will go, and will make another blog post here when I reach fifty, highlighting the new character sheet I am drafting, because I have complete confidence in you guys. Hello everyone, it's me, Spenser. If your reading this, it means that my time here has come to an end. Per protocol 1001-Blue-Delta, My TARDIS has activated and is now relaying this message to you. The truth of a 1001-Blue-Delta simply means that my time to move on has come, and as I write this, I can say that it has been for some time. Every story has an end, some better than others. Unfortunately, mine must end with me walking away from this community. It's not that I didn't have fun, because I did, but it's simply that it is my time to move on.

For a while now I have been debating how I wanted to continue in my pursuit as a writer, and I have come to the conclusion that the best way is to simply walk away from fan-fiction, and start looking into my own original works. I always dreaded leaving unfinished work up here, but I have decided that this is the best case scenario, rather than finishing something that I no longer have an interest in. In a way, it is good to know that I made at least a small ripple in this pond, and that many of you seem to have liked what I finished.

I'm sorry for leaving you all like this, after weeks of no comments or words, but I think you deserve at least a reason as to why I have left. But, there is a bright side to protocol 1001-Blue-Delta, in that it switches off the protective barrier on my characters, allowing them to go free for use. So if any of you want to take on my old stories, and change them or something, then go right ahead. Lyric, and anyone else, is completely up for grabs. So go, have fun, give them homes if it has been your want to do so, and know that this is no goodbye, not forever, and someday...

currently debating new pony stories, or start getting into non fan-fic projects.

So, up at 10:30, typing up stuff, I decided to put down a scene that has been floating around in my head for a while. Actually it came together way better then I expected it to, thus proving I write better at night. So here a glimpse at a small scene from the zombie fic I'm working on. Subject to change, of course, but I think that this is pretty much cannon as is.

“What is it exactly that you are trying to do?” The Pegasus rolled from his stomach to his back, leaning his head over the edge of the roof and getting a good, upsides down look at you. “Because whatever it is,” he continued, “It doesn’t look like you are doing it very well.”

You stop your fruitless struggling and sigh. Rolling your eyes, you look back up at your lazy spectator, who now seems to be more interested in batting at the sky with his fore hooves, than in anything you have to say.“Gee, I don’t know. I guess I’m baking cookies?” You really have no reason to be so snappy, but the care free and rather sarcastic attitude of your compatriot is wearing thin on your already fried nerves rather quickly.

“Oh.” They say flatly, not stopping their strange, cat like pawing motions. “I thought you were trying to get into that house. In which case, I was going to say that you are going about it rather poorly.”

“Oh really?” Is your response. For someone who seems to enjoy laying around more than a used rug in an antique shop, this strange Pegasus sure seems to have an awful lot of criticisms about how you are going about your business. “And how would you go about doing this then, since you are obviously the expert on these things?”

“Well, for starters,” he says, rolling back on to his stomach. “I would be in much more of a hurry to get inside if I were you.” He extends a leg and points towards somewhere off in the distance behind you. “You have company."

There, chew on that for a time while I go to work. I hope.
