Not normally a big fan of Trixie or shipping stories, but that was an EXCELLENT story! :D Looking forward to reading additional chapters as they come up :) Thank you for the fantastic recommendation :)
You've come into the story at the 'pivot point' as it were. Things are quickly going to get out of control and Researcher Twilight is going to earn its dark tag starting in chapters 10 and 11.
Oh I think it's honestly already pretty dark. The moment I realized it was Quillfeather down in there, it took a distinct turn for the dark. (Though at first I thought she was Sapphire because of the dark blue coat--but that was because I misremembered what Quill looked like!)... more so then it had been already :) still... I can't wait to read it! Twi's standing on a slippery slope and hooves just aren't much good for traction... ;)
Whatever you do, don't read 'The Nightmare'... there's not much to it and I cancelled it (it's garbage, anyhow). I may pick it up again at another time; I dunno.
When you wrote this, I went and read it anyway ;)
It seems like a really INTERESTING idea, but it starts off kind of weak. --the first journal entry is interesting, it captivates the audience, introduces a character and gives them a personality. ("apparently, I will be guarding a door" made me giggle!) but then it shifted over into infodump, followed by more infodump. Still, I'd be interested in seeing it finished one day! :) or picked up and shaken about a while.... regardless, good writing, :) Just needs.. some adjusting. :)
However, if I may be so bold to make a recommendation based on a quick perusal of your fav's list... In Her Blood is excellent, has lots of feels and d'aww moments, and it will later have the darker themes that many of your favorites seem to have in common (and I'm one of the editors on it).
Ooh, how awesome. The fact that you looked, browsed and suggested something to me is so AWESOME to me :) THANK YOU! I'll start reading it right away.. I do have.. one question though -- are there season 3 spoilers in it? I was gonna buddy up and watch with a friend but we didn't get around to it when they came visiting so I haven't seen Trixie's episode yet~ One more bit of encouragement to get it all watched sooooon though. :)
Anyway, this looks like a great suggestion and I cna't wait to get started on it :D

I look forward to reading your other offerings <3

Aw :) I tend to only favorite the stories that have the most impact with me. Researching Twilight... well.. I went in, expecting a very different story.... I wasn't expecting for the first chapter to have me tearing up and sniffling at the touching writing and farewells offered. Your writing captured me, and I can very easily say that I look forward to reading your other offerings <3
I personally wouldn't regard my faves list as any vaulted list of best-of-fimfic, but just the ones who've spoken to me, or made me giggle most. :) That said, Researcher Twilight is certainly one of the best <3
Look at that... someone that has been registered here for well over a year, has only 20 favorites, and thinks my story is good enough to be placed on that short list with some truly amazing stories.

Nope, no spoilers. It was started well before season 3 aired, and Ardensfax didn't want to screw with his story to fit canon after the fact.
