In lieu of facts, we must speculate, and speculation is one of the things this fandom does best. That's not to say it's good, since it leads to all sorts of raised expectations, ruined headcanons and so on and so forth. With that in mind though, let me explain why Equestria Girls is working on Bioshock Infinite logic.

So here's how it's gonna go down. Twilight is pursuing someone into an alternate world. Now, passing through into an alternate world in Bioshock Infinite logic requires manipulation of time and space ("That would be a blessing, wouldn't it?"), which Twilight undoubtedly can do. She's explicitly changed history, gone back in time and can change objects' appearances. So she's the one opening the tears and going through.

Now, here's the important thing. She remembers being a pony and all that malarkey, but her friends in universe B, or the "Humaniverse", don't. Why?

Because, put simply, Twilight doesn't exist in universe B. No one knows who she is, meaning she has to make friends with her old friends anew. Her friends meanwhile all slip into the versions of themselves in universe B, accept their memories and manufacture new ones to iron out inconsistencies, but since Twilight doesn't have a pair of shoes to slip into, she makes her own. Booker DeWitt has no trouble slipping into universes where he's already dead, remember.

What does all this mean for Equestria Girls? Well, nothing, for now. Until we see it, we won't know for sure what logic it's operating on, but all the same, I'll hope for nosebleeds, incongruities, static hazes, somepony not rowing, and half a dozen fabulously broken character builds.

Succession

Celestia wants a quiet evening in.

Shining Armour wants a word with her.

These two things are, unfortunately, incompatible.

Because Shining Armour's words are all about his little sister, and her place in the monarchy.

Thanks go to S. Aitken, Celicam, Zerbin, Cloud Wander and Tisis Antony (aka, Mike) for their help. I'm forever in their debts.

The Mare With No Story And Other Promising Tales

In The Mare With No Story, a shy young pegasus gets more than she bargained for in a contest of storytelling.

In Princess Luna and the Dragon Prince, certain facts of astronomy deny a rather forced romance.

In The Soldier Who... well, the soldier who did what? You'll know soon enough.

In Finnick and Foible, we detail some of the more interesting exploits of two ponies of the dark and distant Black Country.

In The Duel, we have a tale of duelling, duality and duplicitea, And no, that's not a typo.

The Battleship Ponytemkin

Faced with an incompetent captain, orders that make no sense, and a winter of boredom and terrible coffee, the choice for Stoker was to either like it, or lump it. So he chose mutiny instead. Unfortunately, life is seldom as simple as all that, especially in the frozen north of Equestria. Before the day is out, he will have to face a royal visit, negotiations, a terrifying new weapon, and history that wants to be repeated.

With a complete chorus of soldiers, sailors, tractor axle makers, princesses, terrible bars, crossed wires and big mistakes, you could do a damn sight worse than read The Battleship Ponytemkin.

Telling Tales

Tall Tales didn't intend to be in Ponyville for long. It was supposed to be a brief stop on the way to the storytellers' gathering in Connemara, and nothing more. How was he to know he'd be offered the opportunity to show southerners real storytelling? More to the point, how was he supposed to refuse? And just what does this pink pony want with him, anyway?

Now he's shanghaied himself into performing, and must use all his skill to stay on stage, on target, and within the bounds of sanity. So gather round, pull up a bollard, and listen to some proper Equestrian folk tales.

Or watch one stallion go slowly mad in public. Either way, you're in for a treat.

It's what makes writing fun though.  Taking an idea, seeing where it goes, pushing it to its limits, etc.

Whatever you do decide though, I wish you the best.  As it is now, you've got me coming up with ideas and thinking if I could possibly implement my own versions of them in my stories.  :trixieshiftright:

Well, I appreciate your faith! If I'm honest, I'm not sure where else it could go, at the risk of abandoning all that fame, publicity and respect of my fellow man.

No problem at all.  I do not recall if I left a comment on it, I know I had tried typing one out a few times.

However, Succession as it stands is amazingly well thought out and handled, and could very easily become the prelude to a wonderful wide spanning story, if you so choose to pursue it.  Although Twilicorn stories can go numerous directions, stereotypes and all that jazz, I think that if you choose to expand on this, you'll find yourself with a large following pretty quickly.

Congrats on the sheer success of it as well.  It should end up in the feature box at some time, at least that is my belief.

Well no problem, it is quite an enjoyable read!:pinkiehappy:

My only advice is to get a picture, life is more fun when your not part of the bald-see-through pony league.

Yes, I am watching you!:pinkiecrazy:

In all seriousness I really liked Telling Tales. It brightened a really boring day, so I decided I should keep an eye out in case you write something else that  catches my eye. You also have a like and a fave.
