Anyhow, it's time to step back and look at the forest rather than just the trees. Twilight and company have been the primary focus of the story until now and, save honorable mentions, our esteemed Princess of the Night has been entirely absent from the story. What has she been up to, and why hasn't she returned to Equestria? Chapter 24 aims to resolve that persistent query, as well as to give you a snapshot of the state of the World outside Equestria as a result of the conspiracy. Look forward to it.

Hello sir or madame,
I am Obsidian Raindrop the creator of a group known as The Great and Not Obsessive Trixie I am here to ask if you would like your story to be added to my group.
The only requirements are:
1. You have a story about Trixie and she is not completely obsessing over her lose at the hands of Twilight. (She can hate that she lost to twilight and even try and beat again but she just can't be be so obsessive like she is in most stories. )
2. She may be a supporting character or a main character it does not matter.
3. i can`t think of a third thing

Advanced style of writing and advanced style of explaining stuff. I like it. Well, I wish you luck on your papers (or whatever) and take your time. Don't stress out, waiting is not as bad as getting shit stuff. Just a simple "I'm studying please don't hate me" would of been fine. We all completely understand.

I assure you. Initially I intended to just rewrite the first eight chapters but I've noticed I kinda skipped over a couple of points in my outline. Now, I could just add all that information in some sort of flashback but that would actually be resorting to Deux ex Machina and be a complete ass-pull.
So what I'm doing right now is working on those missing chapters that are to be inserted right at the beginning of the story. This means that the story will no longer start at "Hunted" rather that will become the new chapter four or five, depending on how I actually manage to play out the outline.
Because we're not talking about a single chapter that means I can't just add them one at a time and not expect to completely confuse the hell out of everybody: they have to be added all at once. So this is where it all stands right now:
Chapter one "Catastrophe" - Finished
Chapter two "unnamed" - Finished
Chapter three "unnamed" - pending
Chapter four "Fallout" - pending
Naturally I'm working towards getting those done, but as I said I'm approaching finals and law is not an easy career so I don't have that much free time. I actually spent the last two weekends doing nothing but writing and I intend to do the same on the one coming up, maybe even as early as Thursday (I love the story as much as you do so I don't see it as a duty or some pain in the ass work I have to get done).
Now, the reason I've kept my silence is because so far I've put up two author notes and to put up a third would really be pushing it. Rather than sit down and explain why I'm taking so long I would prefer to actually sit down and write. I don't want to be a tease and keep telling my readers "almost there!", partly because of the sexual innuendo but mostly because it's tasteless.
I sincerely appreciate your concern and I don't take it as insulting or anything like that, rather I think it speaks volumes of how much you actually like the story. I also think highly of my followers and so I will honor this and any other questions you have with the appropriate response.
As of December the 9th I expect my writing to speed up considerably (don't worry, I'm not saying that's when I'll post the new chapters. I certainly hope to get it done long before then), as that's the date when my finals end and I go out on break. Until then I'll try and keep up with whatever circumstances throw at me and make sure it doesn't hinder my work.
Hey, no offence, but where the hell are you? I understand that you were going to rewrite some of the story but it's been a WHOLE MONTH without a single word... If your taking a break that yea, fair enough, but don't lose your fans. WE MISS YOU!!!
