Greetings, everybrony!

As you may have noticed, I've been rather inactive (incredibly so, actually) these last several months. I've been kind of busy doing stuff like:

        ~ Vising family.

        ~ Attending social functions.

        ~ Finding inspiration in various literary works.

        ~ Holding my little sister's hand through her first miscarriage.

        ~ Attending authentic pagan rituals of blood, ink and fire.

        ~ Researching particle- and astro-physics in preparation for a possible upcoming novel.

You know, life type things. Because of all this I sort of dropped off the face of the earth sometime around the holidays. I haven't commented, posted, disused anything, or even blogged since sometime around December. That is unacceptable, and needs to change - starting right now.

So as of this moment, I'm back. Any future comments, PMs, and messages in general will be replied to. Updates will restart. Work on my pony based responsibilities will begin anew.

And I know what you all are thinking about: The Guardian (K)Night. YES, I have begun work on it once again. Chapter one has already been completely rewritten (now with literally 70% more content) and should be a little less suck-ish and maybe flow and explain things a little better, as well as answer some questions you might not even know you had. Chapter revisions are going on as well, with chapter two already complete and chapter three now underway. Once all the current chapters are revised and revamped (which should be some time in the next few days) I'll send it in to EQD and start work one the new chapter in earnest, and should finish it no later than the 26th if everything goes right. Yes, that's right, a new chapter is visible on the horizon! Expect prodigious length, new characters and suspense. Fun!

On that note, I'll mention now that my extended absence has 'reset' just about everything for me that's fandom related. Including editors. I'll be getting in touch with my current pre- and proof-readers alike, but there's a real possibility that they've moved on without me. Either way the fact of the matter is this: starting with the up-coming chapter I will be adding new editors to the project. If you're interested in searching out typos, improper sentence structure, stiff and clunky dialogue, broken narrative flow or just want to be a sounding board or even pitch some ideas around, just let me know below or message me personally if you prefer.

As a final note, I would like to state that I feel simply awful about being inactive for so long, and forcing you all to wait hopelessly for an update or witty quip that might have never come. If there's anything I can do, anything at all to make up to you, my fans, please, please let me know. It can be just about anything. Commission a song or a picture from one of my friends? Shoot a funny or embarrassing video? Write a short story or oneshot of a prompt or theme of your choosing? Please, just let me know.

Now if you'll excuse me, I promised the girls I'd take them to Burger Queen. See ya'll later.
