ILoveKimPossibleAlot has devoted her latest "My Little Reviews" to "Forever Young." I think she liked it.
This is the video for which YouTube was invented. Human beings have received the gifts of hearing and sight so that they might experience the wonder of this two minutes and twenty-four seconds of pure, unadulterated awesomeness and know that their life's purpose has been fulfilled. Yup, have given and received reviews thru gDocs on the ponychan/fic/ Training Grounds. Always via comments. Have never tried chat, but am game to try. Will PM when good to go.

Sounds like a plan.
Do you by chance use gdocs? That's my preferred method of review/crititque, for the comments system as much as the chat function. PM me when you're ready to roll and I'll send ya my email address.

Thank you. I very much appreciate your offer. I welcome help on everything from corralling stray commas to untangling twisted syntax to patching ugly plot holes.
I can't take immediate advantage of your generosity, but I have a couple of scenes I'm trying to wrestle into some semblance of working order. Should that day come, expect something in your inbox.

I'm glad to hear you liked it! Bubbles was actually the source of inspiration for that PoV, so the comparison is a huge compliment.
I know exactly what ya mean--feedback is 90% of what keeps me writing, and it's always rewarding to get.
"Careful what I ask for", huh? I rarely make this offer, so take that as you will--but if ya want someone to edit a story or bounce ideas off, let me know.

Comma-Kazie... Comma-Kazie... Where have I seen that name? Ah, yes. Your story From the Mouths of Fillies was up on EqD not so very long ago. I was moved by it. The first-person POV you chose put me in mind of Bubbles, which places you in good company.
Thank you for your generous compliments. Once again, it's comments like yours that I wouldn't trade for a boxcar full of thumbs-up. (Offer me two boxcars full, and we'll talk.) Coming from someone who has demonstrated his writing chops only makes it all the more gratifying. All I can say is, be careful what you ask for. You may one day find me on your doorstep, hat in hand, asking humbly for assistance.
>>62746 You only have two comments on your page? That's criminal! Mud Sweat and Tears is a damn good fic, and you should be proud of it!
I understand what you mean when you say you work at your own pace; that said, I sincerely hope to see more from you before terribly long! If MS&T is any indication, you have serious writing talent which you've only begun to properly establish within this fandom.

Congratulations! You have the honor of being the first commenter on my user page! I suppose a shortage of commenters is what comes of my not having a blog to comment on. I may have to correct that state of affairs, but before that I'll need something blogworthy to blog about. For now, consider the rest of this comment a mini blog entry.
Further stories? My ambitions are great, my talent for procrastination greater. I actually did write another story. I set it loose for review and had it come back shot full of gaping holes, or rather, the gaping holes already present were pointed out to me. The annoying part is that the reviewer was right. That project exploded so badly that I'm trying to decide whether to rebuild it or not. I'm giving that one a little time to cool off.
In the meantime, I've got another idea I'm trying to pound into words. This is one that would definitely not be episode material, not that an episode about mud wrestling is ever likely to appear on The Hub. Best not to say more, because so far I've been batting .000 with my predictions. In the words of Niels Bohr, famous science guy, "Prediction is very difficult, especially about the future."
I'll conclude by saying that while I don't work fast, I am working. Comments like yours are what get me past those moments—and there are many—when I ask myself, "Why am I making myself crazy trying to write stories about candy-colored talking ponies?" That, and it's the only way to get their voices out of my head. So keep watching. The day may yet come when i surprise you with a new story.
WOW No one has even once bothered to comment here? That is a real shame. I am also amazed you haven't done anymore stories since your last amazing piece ^^ Mud, Sweat, and Tears was really good and written like an actual episode would flow imho. Sure it wasn't the best 'episode' but it was pretty darn fun!
I hope to see a new story some day if you're still into doing that stuff. Really great job on the first story there. Wish you the best, take care!
