Is it just me, or do schools look more and more like prisons every day?

Is it just me, or do schools look more and more like prisons every day?

This one was done by Piecee01. This has become the new cover art because there is something about it that I absolutely adore, though I can't quite put my finger on it.

And this one was done by AlexandrZaytsevet. That Sevens got included in something like this at all is huge for me and his expression is perfect.
On to more boring things...
The end of chapter 7 is coming together. At 8k words and still in need of work it is going to be two more installments. But things finally happen!

Chronicle
Is over a year old now and it is time to say goodbye. I have enjoyed writing about our favorite anxiety stricken scribe, but the story itself has come to represent a failure for me. When I started writing it I wanted it to be both a character study of Chronicle and Celestia. Somewhere along the way--chapter 4ish--Celestia's role getting swept aside and I could never manage to bring it back around. Chronicle will always have a place in my heart as, not only my first real attempt at a story, but also because of the friends I have made along the way.
On to slightly less depressing news.
Rolling Bones
As Chapter 7 plugs along I find myself seeking input from you my faithful readers. Firstly, I have begun to feel that the title is wholly inadequate. It is not that it is a bad title, but rather that it simply has not the slightest thing to do with the story that I have planned out. So my question is, Is it worth while to come up with a new title or am I at the point where that would do more harm than good?
On a slightly different note, I am also seriously considering moving to a third-person perspective starting with Chapter 8. I believe that the events at the beginning of Chapter 8 will provide the best opportunity to effect the switch, so this is something that I will need to decide on shortly. There are a number of reasons I would like to do this, not the least of which is that it would allow me to give the villains more screen time. However, I am concerned about how such a move would be received by you wonderful readers. Your thought on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
Everything else
I plan on participating in prompt writing more and to facilitate that I will be posting a new story in the future titled 'Sips of Mead' which is where I will place all such stories.

Some of you may wonder why my screen name is Honey Mead...
Well it starts with this...

And will hopefully end with this

Well it's that time again.
As you know from my last blog post Rolling Bones hit the feature box yesterday for about an hour or two. This wonderful event brought in nine
and five
. I would like to thank you all for making this possible. You're support is absolutely wonderful.
On to more important topics.
As you surely noticed, this latest update is not a full chapter. It is fully possible that it is not half a chapter either. This is because, over the past two months, I have been grinding away at chapter 7. Never has a chapter been so uncooperative as this one. Every scene was rewritten at least once, some two or three times. I think about 10% of this release is the same as I wrote it back in early January.
But you don't care about that, you're worried about the rest of chapter 7. I have some good news! It's coming along nicely... and it's going to be longer than I imagined. It has gone so far off script that I have no idea where it's going!
I would tell you more, but
