Alright, I guess there're some things I should probably put here:

I am a writer from Ontario, Canada.

I started watching the show back in November of 2011. I was brought to the show after watching an episode of a web series called Death Battle in which Rainbow Dash went against the Transformer named Starscream. After seeing that episode, it got me curious about the show. I eventually decided I was going to program a flying game based around the character Rainbow Dash, but I realized that I knew nothing about the character or the show she was from. So, I decided to give the show a shot, just one episode, I told myself, but the pilot ended in a cliffhanger, so I had to watch another, and from there, I proceeded to watch a total of 23 episodes in one day, then caught up with the rest the day afterwards. At the time, the Cutie Pox episode was the latest to air. It eventually lead to me finding a forum, and from there my interest sky rocketed and I started dedicating the majority of my free time to ponies. I started writing in I think February or March. After reading Rainbow Factory, I decided, what the hay, I think I'm gonna try and write something. So, I ended up writing Pipe Dreams as my first fic, and things went from there. Really if it weren't for ponies I wouldn't have realized that I love to read and write.

So yeah, basic pony stuff you should know about me:

My favourite of the Mane 6 would have to be Fluttershy, but I do love them all.

Favourite CMC has to be Scootaloo, but again, love all three of em.

My favourite regular BG character is probably Roseluck, but I'm mostly indifferent.

I consider Vinyl Scratch to be more of a side character than a BG character, so I guess she could be considered a favourite in that category.

As for shipping, the only one I actually like and support is FlutterDash. I'm mostly indifferent to all the other ones.

Right, I figured I might as well make a blog post explaining myself.

It's been around a month since I last updated Volde the Changeling or anything really. The reason for this is actually pretty simple. I've been completely swamped as of late. I have so much work that I've had to do, and I literally have had no time to write anything that isn't related to school. So basically, the story is definitely on hiatus now until further notice. That doesn't mean it won't continue, I will still work on it when I can, I just won't be publishing anything for a while. Heck, maybe when I do come back to it I'll update with 2, 3, maybe 4 chapters. I still have ideas as to what I want to do with the story and how it's going to go, but I don't have the time to write it.

So yeah, that's all. Until next time, here's the CMC eating ice cream:

Volde the Changeling

The name's Volde. Well, at least that's what I called myself when I got here. My old name is unimportant now, forgotten. I was sent here for some reason, I don't know why I was chosen to be sent here of all people, I'm not at all remarkable. A lot of the people you hear about coming here are usually smart, fast, or are good fighters in general. Not me though, I was just your average joe, just sinking into the background and going with the flow while staying quiet most of the time. I guess this was some kind of ironically sick joke that the person who sent me here was playing. It's weird and ironic at the same time, I was always quiet and just formed myself to fit other people, and now I'm like this for good.

Well, this is original, right? Another HiE type deal, totally hasn't been done a million times before.

A couple quick things:

-- This story is rated Teen due to blood, violence, and colourful language.

-- The prologue to the story is rushed and was only made so that I could finally get the idea out of my head quickly. I'm only adding this here to ask that people don't judge the entire story based on that little mini-chapter.

-- This entire situation is inspired by, BUT IS NOT APART OF the world of Griffin the Griffin and The Ballad of Echo the Diamond Dog

Pipe Dreams

This is a story of a stallion being stuck in a very odd position. He is trapped in restraints with no vision of the room around him, with only the sound of a leaking pipe to let him know he is still alive and must figure out why he is there or how he got there. The story goes back into his memories of the previous day in order to do so as he tries to find any and every possible way to escape.

Very mild amounts of blood do appear.

So, I looked at the OC I had recently created, most specifically the colours, they were black, white, and purple(strange combo, I know, but it works). Black and white were both too plain, and on one of the themes, either wouldn't be readable, so I went with purple. It's pretty much just become a writing quirk of mine when it comes to anything pony related.
