I've been writing for, oh... Seven years now? And yet, I'm just a senior in high school that's prone to making many mistakes, and often not learning from them either.

Ponies have really only been a topic of interest for the past 18 months. Before that, it was all bad Starcraft fanfiction and cheesy zombie shorts. But ponies have really helped me write better.

Hell, I never even heard of shipping before I started reading ponyfics, and now it's my preferred genre. But I might be moving back to adventure/dark. I don't know... Maybe. I'm still thinking about it.

Fair warning, I crave the complex, fancy the far-flung, and revel in the references. It's a common trait for some new writers, to make things more intricate and deep than they need to be, and I'm no exception. I'm also really cynical when reviewing my own work, but I guess that's natural too.

Latest Stories

Tidbits of Mast and Sail

Ye 'Ole Collection of Ships.

All kinds of ships too! Yachts, galleys, sloops, motorboats, carracks, canoes, cutters, man-o-wars, dinghies, toy, plastics ones, cogs, battleships, speedboats, raceboats, ironclads, steamboats, ships of the line, kayaks, pontoons, barges, tugboats, ketches, lifeboats, schooners, cruisers, pirogues, trawlers, viking ships, gondolas, pleasure barges, blackwall frigates, rafts, and my very favorite, the one taken for adventure as well, the caravel.

Caravels.

Note: This happens in the same universe. So, once a ship happens, it cannot be reversed. The pairings are there to stay. However, they aren't posted in exact chronological order. But, this makes it more fun, as the little interconnections and stuff get chucked around and by the end it gets very interesting.

Anyways, enjoy this random heaping of various impulses to thrust two (or more) innocent, fictional characters into often improbable circumstances where they become attracted to each other. Or, maybe it'll just be friendshipping. That's a very rare ship, though. Usually it's pedal-to-the-medal or nothing. I thought about posting each thing as a single story, but that'd get very tedious.

* - denotes a Thirty Minute Pony Stories prompt. Often much shorter.

Kinetics

Princess Celestia believes its time for Twilight to propel her studies to a new level, and requests Luna's aid in doing so. However, Princess Luna and her borrowed student end up getting more than either of them asked for.

Launched into a new, fractured world, where the knowledge of magic is lost, an opposite fills its void. Meanwhile, Luna and Twilight have to work together to find even where home is. But soon, they find themselves having to play by other ponies and nations' rules, and the strife that comes with it.

"Dark" tag added, after much thought, as a forewarning for some more violent scenes.

Restraint

For Rarity, the words left unsaid are often most meaningful. A life of standards and a sense of class has led her to assume that breaking these standards are wrong, and that reining in one's true emotions is a path to success.

However, something has been keeping her up at night and threatening to break the mold she has lived by throughout her life. Which will crack first, her presumed lifestyle or herself?

Renaissance of The Moon

Princess Luna is sent to learn about the changes in her absence. But soon, with the help of another shy pony, she ends up learning more about herself and her emotions, than the land around her.

The Teen rating is here due to some moments of heavier shipping. Nothing explicit, or even close to that, but just a fair warning.

Adagio For Hope

For Vinyl Scratch, it only takes one step.

-~-

The Cover Image was made by myself, although credit goes to YiKOmega for the original picture.

This took me about a month to write. It turns out trying to balance school, sports, my new interests in composing music (Nowhere nearly as good as my proficiency with literature or graphic art, I've never made a song nor do I think I ever will), those damn bronies from Dead Frontier who drive me procrastinate, Killing Floor, AND writing.... It doesn't work so well.

Anyways! Here's a largely-retrospective story about Vinyl Scratch, the maiden of music, and her ordeals with obtaining her dream. More "slice of life" than anything.

It COULD become a multi-chapter story, so I'm going to leave the door open and keep this at incomplete.

Three pieces coming up for you lucky fillies and gentlecolts, I hope you like it. All are different lengths and styles and feels. In the name of suspense, I'll give off that the three selected pairings are TwiLuna, TwiShy, and RariDash... One's a happy friendshipping, another is a playful and adorable ship, and the last is a much more matured, sad and heavy.

I need to fill in a few touches and do a bit of editing, but I'm looking at posting this weekend, and possibly also Chapter Five of Kinetics too, if anybody's interested. (I made a map today. It's mainly for my own purposes, but I could put it up somewhere if anybody'd like a look. It's MS Paint level at the moment though, needs some sandpaperin' of its own as well.)

It's like fitting a square peg in a brick wall.

but... but they're both... h never mind.

:3

I was mostly kidding but I have always wanted to see one and

if you do it I might legitimately put a petition in at the vatican to make you a saint. I know Latin, I could totally do that.

LunApple? LunaJack?

Jeez louise, mate, where to even start... It's like fitting a square peg in a brick wall. Not that I disapprove (although I disagree that its the best ship), but you're right, it's a beastly 'un. Unfortunately, I sense a challenge, and the competitive side of me simply cannot stand by.

I'll mull it over for a week or so and see what ideas brew in my head. Maybe something plausible will lurch out.

Your avatar and Luna writing skills have convinced me.

It is your turn to take up the mantle.

To write the ultimate ship. The hardest ship. The ship that ships all ships with other ships and drowns the ships of man in ships.

I need you to write LunaXApplejack.

Because it's the best.

You've earned it with such wonderful storytelling. I almost forgot, but you're getting a follow, too.

All I remember is rushing over to the site when Sethisto first posted about it. But, if you consider how much time I've actually been on FIMFiction, browsing stories and posting stuff, I amount to little more than anybody else.
