Banning HiE stories?  Seriously, what the fuck are you thinking.

If this is an April Fools joke ( which all evidence points to), it is in extremely poor taste.  I hate it when anyone, especially websites, make earth-shattering announcements on April Fools Day.  All it does is cause unnecessary distress.  Last year's "G1 Filter" was perfect.  Nobody got their jimmies rustled, and it was a fun thing for a day.

Now, if it turns out that this is NOT an April FOols joke, WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU THINKING!?  Just going by members, Humans in Equestria is the second biggest group on this site, just behind Clopfics and well ahead of Shipping.  Yes, there are tons of bad HiE stories, but you know what else?  There are tons of NON-Human stories as well!

Now, on to other, less dire news.  Chapter 6 of Hired Gun is well on its way and, barring the intervention of shiny objects that need to be stared at, should be out by the end of the week.

It's not bad, per se, but the admins really need to understand that "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."

I have no excuse really.  I should be working on my stories, but every time I sit down to write, I get distracted by other things and- Ooh, Roosterteeth uploaded another Minecraft LP.

Anyways, onto good news, I have made some progress on Hired Gun (None on OtWoA, before you ask).  No ETA on an update, but it's steady.

A long time ago, before time itself (about three weeks ago to be precise), the fandom blew up over Hasbro leaking a certain fact about today's episode.  The fandom split into three camps; Ruined Forever, Cautious Optimism, and "who the fuck cares?"

I myself was in the Cautious Optimism group.  Let me tell you, after seeing the episode, I was not disappointed.  A few thoughts:

1) I believe that this episode marks the first time that the word "Alicorn" was used in canon.  If I am wrong, please let me know.

2) This episode really needed to be a two parter.  The whole thing about the mane 6 having the wrong cutie marks should've been one whole episode, and should've ended when Twilight blew up  The second part could deal with the coronation, with maybe Discord showing up to play a few harmless pranks to haze the new Princess.

3)  Discord should've shown up period.  I'm still waiting for the damn mariachi band.

Ya know, while reading Fallout Equestria, I couldn't help but wonder something.

What would Angel Squad do?

That's right, children.  My boys are dropping into post-Apocalyptia!  This will be non-canon to both OtWoA and FO:E.  I just want to do something fun with my characters.  There will be a few changes, though.

1)  The biggest one, Dieter and Sergei are going to be combined.  I don't much like Weber at the moment, so our HWG is gonna be a russian.

2)  This will be taking place two years after the Human-Covenant war and about three months after the events of FO:E

3)  There will be a surprise guest squad member.  It's not any canon character, so don't bother guessing.  He will, however, be a reference to a rather famous Halo fanfic, but still a creation of my own.

... Fuck!  I hate going to bed while crying.

I should've known this would happen.  I have to dogsit AGAIN.  At least until saturday.  Luckily, I'll have internet access this time, so it's not all bad.

Ah well, last time I managed to finish the Mass Effect trilogy over five days.

Oh god,god, after a week without regular pony access, I thought I was gonna go nuts.  I missed two episodes, and my New Chapter backlog is up to 40 D:

God, it's good to be home.

My OtWoA fans might have noticed a similair tale posted by one Shirotora a few days ago.  I myself pre-read the first few chapters and have signed off on it.  It is an excellent read and I hope everyone here will give it a shot.

Also, you might be wondering how I'm communicating when I said I wouldn't have access to a computer in my previous post.  Well, I'm on a library computer.  I'm may not be able to work on my stories, but at least it'll let me keep my "unread chapters" count manageable.

Yeah, turns out I won't have regular internet access next week.  Now Hired Gun is also unlikely to be worked on.
