The Story I Will Never Write · 8:51pm
That'd be Sunny Harvest, part 3!
Haha, no no, I am going write that story eventually, but I have a few other projects to get through first. Also I should probably edit the previous two a bit to make them a bit less terrible.
Also add a little chapter on the end of To Live, Love, and Forgive. Mainly because my brain won't shut up about how easy it would be to make Keep Calm And Flutter On work in the strange universe my stories occupy.
Let's get to what I'm supposed to be talking about already.
First of this story would be about a human finding his way into Equestria. Not a brony, just a simple human who's never heard of this strange colorful world. I wouldn't put much explanation as to how he wound up there, mainly because that's not the point of the story.
The point is that he brings something through with him. A book.
A book that's NOT the bible. That's territory I don't want to get anywhere near. The book he brings through would be a book I'm a big fan of, The Book Thief.

I suppose Twilight would be the first to find him collapsed on the ground, unconscious. She'd be a bit curious of him, but all her attention would be taken by the book clasped in his hand. She'd pull it away from and start to flip through it so the first thing he sees upon waking is a purple unicorn trying to read his book.
Quite a surprising sight to many I suppose..
You'd have the regular freak out, calm down and explanation of where he was. She'd probably take him to the library.
Then they would talk about the book. He'd start to explain what it was about, but Twilight would interrupt him.
"No no no, don't spoil the story for me! I just want to know what language this is!" Because while Ponies may speak English their written language is not the same.
Because magic, or something.
Now this human absolutely adores this book. He thinks it changed his life and is the greatest thing ever. He wants everyone to read it, everyone to understand it the way 'he' does.
So they eventually come to the decision where he'll read the book to her and she'll copy it down. Twilight is just so excited because she will be the first pony to catalog something written by another race from another universe entirely.
Only as they go through the story the human has to explain things to Twilight that he'd...well, rather not.
Since The Book Thief is set during World War 2 it talks many of the happenings of the war itself. And while it may be assumed that ponies know about murder, killing, and perhaps even war, I don't believe that they would understand the amount of killing in the war and the reasons for it.
The human knows how hard it is getting to continue reading, so he stops. But Twilight can't make herself stop. She sneaks the book out at night to try and puzzle out the language. She can't leave it alone, a story when started has to be finished.
Along the way the human understands how you can't really base your life around one book, that you can't offer it to someone and claim it will change their life for the better. Because sometimes it won't.
I don't know whether they would finish the book or not but I figured it would be a unique story to write.
But I won't...because I just wouldn't be able to do it right.
So that's the story that will never be written.

You are indeed correct. To be more specific, it was from a remixed song made from comments by two funny people doing a Let's Play of a Kirby game!

>>217317 Wow. Gee, thank you. I consider that an honor. If I can inspire anyone in any way, shape or form that's a big deal to me.
I am an aspiring writer. I'm not perfect; I can use the wrong words here or there and perhaps I have a few grammatical errors. But I am improving.
You'd like to be me one day
I have never heard anybody say that.
What do you say we improve together?

Hum hum, I must answer this question, more importantly, I have to answer it right...
Perhaps it is simply because you are worth following. I have read many stories from many authors...yet I usually don't follow them. They all seem to be lacking...something. You have that something...or perhaps part of it.
You write happy stories, sad stories, and other simply strange stories. I'd like to think that they inspire me to be a better writer...but I feel it is something more than that...
Hurm...I want to call myself a writer yet I can't think of a good response...
Maybe you simply made my day better with your words. The time I invested in your stories was in no way wasted.
Maybe you're what I would like to be one day...
I guess you can take whatever answer suits you best, I'll let you know if I can think up a better one.
Until then, please keep up the good work.
Wow, thanks so much for the favorite and the follow!
May I ask why you did so? (This is the first time I've asked such a question...)
Thank you!

I didn't have any of your stories in One Shots, but then you wrote that cute story about Twilight and Celestia, and I just had to put it in there
The truth is, I haven't written anything with monsters or weird creatures lately, and Halloween is a perfect occasion for doing that. I'll try to make something.
Thanks for liking the picture
but I'm not that good with Paint. You'll notice that there are no hands, I'm terrible at drawing hands. Pinkie Pie is also very difficult to draw for some reason,. Curiously, I find Twilight and Dash much easier to draw.
