A mysterious group claiming to serve one of the two Royal Sisters appears in Equestria, though from the outset its intentions are clearly less than noble.  Their attacks ring across Equestria and shake the foundations of the millennia-old government, while Celestia and Luna claim no connection to this group whatsoever.  If this is true, who is pulling the strings? The Princesses and the Mane 6 must race to uncover the truth, while clouds of ash rise on the horizon and a larger deception threatens to tear the Sisters, and Equestria, apart.
