First up, I would like to apologise for the huge delay on the second chapter of A Personal Obligation.

It's just that I suddenly realised that I'm hugely dissatisfied with the direction that I had planned for the plot to take, and considering that this story has gotten a lot more attention than I was really expecting I want to nip this in the bud now rather than blunder my way through it and terminally stuff it up.

So I promise that APO will return with some semblance of regularity just as soon as I've sorted this out.

And as fun fact on the side I started writing this as a response to a competition held by Kits not so long ago, but as the story sort of grew in the telling and I knew that I wasn't going make the deadline I decided to expand it into something more interesting (the keen observer will note that these rushed origins are the source of my current plot related grief). But as I was sort of saying, you guys should go check out the stories that did make it into the competition while I attempt to wrangle my own fic into some vague form of quality storytelling.
