It is with most sincere regret that I inform you that I shall be deleting my fanfic The Madness Within. I simply lack the drive and motivation to complete it. At the moment, it's simply lurking at the bottom of my stories list, waiting to be finished, and it's really getting on my nerves. This was my first fanfic, and I have to say that I am most proud of this one. But I simply can't finish. It's as if I'm not letting myself progress. But, rest assured, this will not be gone completely. I shall save the text, in case I ever feel the urge to finish and reupload. And I promise, that day will come eventually. I'll finish the whole damn thing and upload it. I promise.

I'm sorry, and thank you for all the support you've given me for the story.

So... After the events of the first chapter of Everypony Dies at the End, I thought it might add to the emotional drama if I were to include a AppleDash ship. The second chapter is largely a flashback of Rainbow Dash's which encompasses said shipping, and as I said, this is relevant as to add to the emotional impact when...

I just wanted to let you guys know what was coming.

On a passing glance I've recently discovered that I have over one hundred followers, 118 to be exact. I just want to thank you all, and I hope I can continue to entertain you as I (hopefully) have been doing.

For me, as a writer, it's hard for me to stay in one place. I write something, and I finish a chapter, and then... I really want to finish the story, but I also want to move onto something else, just to see what else I can do. It is for this reason that you're most likely going to be seeing a lot of new stories before I do many updates for those that are already out. A lot of these will be one-shots, so I won't have to worry about continuity when I have several others that require updating.

I don't mean for this to sound like to I lack conviction and dedication when it comes to my stories. I just like to expand what I have to offer, rather than strictly sticking to one story at any given time.

I've decided I'm going to take a swing at the more mature line of stories. Not a clopfic or anything, but my next story will definitely have some serious mature elements. Not a comedy (I might slip in a few jokes, but that's it), but an adventure story.
