Yeah... one month and then some isn't exactly 'soon', is it?

Sorry 'bout the wait; some of it's been my fault, most of it's been completely out of my hands; haven't had much of a chance to upload anything recently.

ANYWHO! Bit of news; my sister's home from school for the summer! Yay! Yes, this is "Julie"! No, she isn't really "Julie", she's just who I based her off of! In a brief mention! NEVERTHELESS! Bit of bad news comes from that; I'm a bit paranoid when it comes to my writing, as in, I don't tend to write as much if anyone else is in the house. Fortunately, for the most part, as it's just me and my parents, I tend to do a bit more writing... Buuuuut, with "Julie" home, that amount will drop by a fair bit... meaning, I probably won't be uploading as frequently. (Less frequently than you've already been doing? Is that even possible? Shush, Slick!)

But yes, I'm still here, I'm still uploading... AND HAVE HAD 1000+ VIEWS! WOOHOO!!!

Good news, everybody, I am, in fact, still alive!

Sorry for the long delay, but I can explain!

When last I published a chapter, I made it pretty clear that this next part would contain Pinkie's Ponyville-wide welcoming party.

I figure that this will be the last such fiesta until the one in Canterlot, which is quite a ways away.

Sitting back, I thought 'Well, my birthday's coming up... might as well have the party out for that!'

SO YES! TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY, AND THIS IS MY PRESENT TO YOU!

(Fairly certain that's not how birthday presents work, but OH WELL IMMA DOIN' IT ANYWAY!)

Could have sworn I'd said that I wouldn't set any definite time-lines for when chapters are going to be posted...

ANYWAY! I hit a bit of a roadblock in writing the next chapter, but hopefully it's gone for good; decided to add something which could possibly be either a) bloody difficult for me to write, or b) add quite a bit of drama to the story. Oh well. It'll probably be the next chapter.

So yeah, next chapter should be out soon. Not saying any day/week definitely, just vaguely soon.

That aside, you know how before I said I'd been writing chapters further along in this story/the next story? Weeeell, I may have basically finished a small arc for that other story; anyone interested in pre/proof-reading it? Editors are always welcome.As well as comments.

As stated previously, I am a notorious procrastinator! It's been a week since I posted the last chapter, and haven't even started on the next one yet!

Explanations in order? I think yes.

Due to my earlier procrastinations (before chapter 3 was even started), I got to thinking about what was going to happen later on in the story.

So much so that... well, I know better how it's going to end than what's going to happen next, let's just say that.

And so, I'm about halfway through writing the final chapter, and again halfway done yet another chapter for a story I haven't even started yet.

So, I'm starting chapter 4... now!

Expect it out within a week.

Everyone has their own secrets, and it seems as though Al's is darker than most!

Good thing he has someone to share with, right?

So yeah, darker turn to this chapter, not too much "Let's see how embarrassed we can make him!" This go 'round.

Might be some of that later, though.

19 pages! Hope they were worth the wait!

Yeah, about the chapter; at first, can't say as I was too pleased with the balcony scene, but heck, it's kind of grown on me now.

Felt the need to add some back-story there; I admit it, I've read a couple of "human-in-equestria" stories before, and one thing that always bugged me was "Why aren't you trying to go home?!" So, I think I came up with a plausible reason, no?

And yes, that's my belief about the Apple Family parents. If you don't like it, tough! XP

Hopefully, the wait for chapter 3 shouldn't be anywhere near so long, but don't hold your breath; I am a master procrastinator.

So, two weeks ago, when I posted my story, I said that the next chapter would be out soon.

At the time, I had 4 pages done, and was thinking "Great, the first chapter was totally going to be one of the longest in the story, this one'll be, like, probably 9 pages. It'll be done by the end of the week.

*End of the week, 8 pages* Yeah, not near done yet, but shouldn't be too much more. Definitely no longer than the first chapter.

*12 pages done* Ok... not much more to dooo... definitely done by the end of the week.

*Today, marking the end of the second week, 15 pages done* WHY AREN'T YOU ANYWHERE NEAR DONE YET?!?!

Yeah... the story's coming along... I'll tentatively say that the next chapter will be out in the next couple of days?

So, you all know how in Season 1, each of the Mane Six had their own little mental breakdowns?

Yeah, I think I'd fit right in with them after these past couple of days.

Day 1: *Submit story*.

*Check on story several hours later* Oh, cool, it already has two views!

*Several minutes later* Oh gods it already has two views, people are judging me, it's terrible, I just know it!

*Several more minutes later* WHY ONLY TWO VIEWS?!? YOU'RE GOING TO READ IT AND LOVE IT!!!

*Several hours later* Oh gods I've been checking this thing every couple of minutes (WHY STILL ONLY TWO VIEWS?!?), my bosses are sure to notice, they'll be upset that I'm wasting my work time, they're going to fire me, my parents will be upset and kick me out of the house, I'll have nowhere to live, won't be able to get back into university, I'm dooooomed!

Day 2: *Checks story* Hey, 4 views! ... and it was declined ooooh, those were the moderators, I get it now!

*Seconds later* Why was it declined? Aaah, if I'd read the FAQ instead of submitting it while running out the door to work-which-was-in-20-minute-it-takes-30-to-get-there, I would have seen that!

*Fix and resubmit*

*Story accepted!* Yay! It's good enough to pass!

*First comment: "Wait, what?"* Oh ye gods it's a terrible story everyone's going to hate it I'll be banned from the site this'll follow me everywhere I'll never be able to publish a book like I was wanting to!

*1 hour and 20 trackings later* It's... good? People like it? Yay, I'll finish up the second chapter as soon as I can!

*2 seconds later* OH YE GODS CHAPTER TWO IS HORRIBLE IT'LL NEVER BE AS GOOD EVERYONE'S GOING TO HATE IT...

Yeah... you really shouldn't be around me when I submit stuff, apparently...
