Yep, as usual, been inactive for awhile again. Obviously not as long this time, but I was expecting to knuckle down on Sparity Forever's next chapter a few weeks ago. Nevertheless, it's coming up soon.

It's "Origins: AppleDash" this time, my attempt to eaaaaaaase up on the shipping overdose I'm on, simply by writing about a ship that doesn't involve the cliche crap I've been doing thus far - such as gifts, flirtatious dialogue, yaddah yaddah. Essentially, I need to stop forcing relationships. Sure, they've involved dating, special encounters, base attraction and such, which is not exactly 'forced', but nevertheless, this time the canon setup dictates I create a romantic relationship between two Mane Six characters - very close friends. Hence, their relationship will need to gently ease from friendship to romantic.

Simple enough, right? Well my writing skills are far from top-notch, but I try, so expect a few flaws here and there :) just hopefully not massive flaws strewn about like usual.

Oh, and why have I been so busy this time? Well, mostly art; I started doing Pony.mov-style commissions awhile ago, and 40+ commissions later (with a major album cover art still underway), I found myself re-addicted to Fallout: New Vegas.

....until I finished every DLC, and every quest other than a few NCR and Legion ones.

Now? Sadly, re-addicted to Minecraft. I'm building a huge city, complete with docks, lighthouse, arena, subway, marketplace, farms, tons of houses.... the lot.

Enough of that, though.

TL;DR

I'll put it simply:

- Post-HSC excessive sleep

- Resurfaced depression

- Increase in frequency and intensity of family crap

- Applying for Unis and TAFEs, parents at each other's throats for money

- Influx of TAFE work

- Working on a difficult commission already way overdue

Had I known I was to face such delays, I would've marked my stories as "on hiatus", but silly me, no forward thinking >.<

At this point, I'm just trying to find small pockets of time to write, as I haven't since, what, early November? Celestia forgive me. I'm planning to have a chapter or two up by the end of the month. One chapter has a large clump of content already, but due to Season 3 (I follow the canon), serious changes are needed, which has ended up being easier and more effective to start from scratch. 2,500 words to waste, damn.

Anyway, hopefully I can get back in the writing groove soon. I noticed a slow trickle of favourites to Sparity Forever in my absence, and let me tell you, that gives me chills of happiness. Yup, CHILLS.

Celestia bless you all, that's ridiculously kind, having left a fraction of a story with gaping holes only to find people actually LIKE it enough to bother favouriting.

Let's hope I can make it up to you all; better plot, better presentation, better dialogue, yaddah yaddah. Seeing as how both Sparity Forever and To Defy Chaos are set 2 years after the Season 2 Finale - likely during the Season 4-5 time frame - great alteration will be needed, especially Discord's reform and Alicorn Twilight.

Time for me to stop rambling and get back to my TAFE work; less work completed means less time to write.

EDIT: Here's a plot hole example for ya:

My OC "Phoenix" is currently shipped with Twilight. This is because he wasn't originally meant to be a ponified me, just an original character.

So now, I'm shipped with Twilight, despite being crazy about Fluttershy. Also, SHE is shipped with Big Macintosh, because my shipping addiction demanded it, and in my opinion it's a great pairing.

Swimming in plotholes, but a rewrite wouldn't work, and would take too long.

Welp, despite massive writer's block on two out of the three stories I'm writing, first chapter of Sparity Forever's sequel is passing moderation as I type this blog.

---> EDIT: It passed moderation as I finished the blog 0.0 wow, those moderators are so fast now, first story took 8 hours to pass, second 2 hours, now just a few minutes.

It's called "To Defy Chaos" and it's got a bit of everything; few jokes here and there, mild romance, some action and much later, the dark stuff >:)

It focuses on my OC Phoenix, but even though I didn't plan on it originally, Sparity gets a tad bit of spotlight, as well as another shipping of Pinkie and a friend's OC. Hopefully the jokes and horrible pun or two will be enjoyed, though I've still yet to implement a brief comment to explain why, even though Sparity Forever was set two years after the Season 2 Finale, the Cutie Mark Crusaders are still referred to as such.

Meh, I'll say it right now:

They got their cutie marks (two years, come on of course they would have during that time), but they keep the club because they continue the activities despite having their cutie marks. Why? Because now instead of doing whatever they can think of to earn their cutie marks, they do their favourite activities.

Maybe I'll even bring Babs into it at some point, who knows :)

TL;DR:

Whew, well, after all the delays, be it HSC, family events, and even the damn broken laptop charger, everything is once more ready for me to write :D The laptop charger that arrived was the correct voltage and ampage (is that even a word?), but had the wrong plug size -_- luckily, I improvised and the broken charger has been replaced :)

Soooo, I'm back to writing, despite infuriating all you amazingly patient people with all these delays XD

So, as a quick update, I am moderately busy, with plenty of ideas for Origins: AppleDash, Sparity Forever's sequel, and finally, the bonus chapter :) I better get my ass working ASAP to make up for lost time, meanwhile my friend is waiting for me to work on his art as well, and that's delayed because I requested another friend - a photoshop master and artisan of many areas - is busy until schoolies XD

Ah well, that's life X3

My damn laptop died, and I discover my charger is screwed beyond repair -_- gonna be awhile before I can do any writing, photoshopping or anything fun and actually productive unless I get a new one, perhaps eBay?

Don't even know the exact model specifications -_- as if my work wasn't delayed enough already ;-;

Yes, I do realise I can use my iPhone, but have any of you used an iPhone to even browse FiMFiction, let alone write a story? Took me long enough as is to read a friend's story and write this blog -_-

Earlier today I found a suitable charger on eBay :D on its way, 2-8 days I believe (since it's quite local, should be 2-3 days)

With the HSC finally over, my busy weekend at an end, and after the Formal tomorrow night, I'll be free to return to le story writing :D

Unfortunately, despite having ideas at the ready and an eager mind, I have two projects to complete before I can focus fully on Sparity Forever.

- Firstly, there's the new cover art collaboration for a friend of mine.

- Secondly, there's the collaboration fic with the latter friend.

I recently found enough free time to write a few hundred words on Origins: AppleDash for Sparity Forever, and with my ideas lined up and waiting, I'm hoping to use what free time I can find to work on that, as it's been delayed far too long.

P.S.S. I was once more feeling foolish for providing such little actual Sparity content in Sparity Forever - even with the bonus chapter - so I'm gonna write yet another bonus chapter sometime :)

Couldn't get to sleep after a certain 'incident', so yeah, got to writing based on my mood. Hence, I wrote Phoenix vs Chrysalis. It's only 1100 words, but I hope it's sufficient. I don't plan on a sequel for it, as it's merely a branch off Sparity Forever (and its chapter list is getting quite clogged with side stories), but if you guys n' gals want me to, I'll make a sequel.

It's passing moderation as I write this blog.

However, I'm still in the HSC zone, and that'll end November 7, at which point I have to work on Sparity Forever, a collab effort with a photoshop expert to make some hectic cover art for Feral (seeing as how my first design is rather lacking), and finally a collab effort - which I can't speak of yet - inspired by an awesome song.

Writing literature really does work.... I'm finally tired.... at 2am >.<

Heya guys n gals, I suppose I didn't place much emphasis on this earlier: the HSC, the reason why I've been so inactive for so long now. I'll still be inactive for a couple weeks longer, as my first exam is next week. I've been studying like crazy, and although little has stuck, I've neglected to mention any of this to you folks.

Thanks, though, for being so awesome in your feedback on Sparity Forever despite all its flaws :) hopefully I can make it up to you all when I write a few one-shots, start on Sparity's sequel, and focus primarily on a project between me and a very good friend; I'll keep his name and the story's title secret until he deems the surprise necessary to reveal :3

Heya everypony, thanks for all your support in my (still ongoing) rather flawed Sparity Forever, and for supporting me during my crisis earlier. While I'm not cured of that pain, I never will be, and a few close friends - as well as you, my kind, patient readers - have given me the strength to continue my work.

The first - and most powerful - step was of course distraction, and although it took me far too long, writing two chapters of Sparity Forever and making cover art for yet another good friend was just what I needed, along with a lot of jokes and unusual but hilarious conversations.

Anyways, enough of my rant.

I've got a fair few one-shot ideas, although I can only share one at the moment in case some sneaky writer decides to take my ideas. So without further ado, I present:

Phoenix vs Chrysalis!

You like? You like? Alright, I admit, a very basic idea, and very little surprises and plot twists I can make from that. A rather straightforward idea, but nevertheless, I'd like to write it someday soon.

Just so you know, I of course won't be working on it immediately; after all, I have the HSC to study for, more cover art to make for my PFF, and of course three more chapters of Sparity, although they won't be related to the couple itself; rather, they are user requests:

   - Origins: AppleDash

   - Origins: FlutterMac

   - Pinkie Crush, Part 2

Anywas, thanks for reading thus far. OOH, just a side note, my favourite pony has once again shifted back to Fluttershy, but this time it's INTENSE, I've even ordered a plush toy, was lucky enough to get an awesome deal for $45, and it was actually legit! 11-12 inches in both height and length~

Well, it's official, heart shattered for the final time. I have absolutely no future, and no hope. As such, I'll merely ride the MLP:FiM train as far as I can before I can't physically pull myself out of bed anymore, which looks to be relatively soon.

Sorry people, but I'm not sure if I can finish Sparity Forever chapter 6 tonight; I'll definitely try, but when I do finish it, I don't know if I can ever find the inner joy to fuel my writing for Origins: AppleDash and Origins: FlutterMac.

Please forgive my currently morbid attitude; this is by far the worst pain I've ever felt; I've attempted suicide before, harmed myself, etc etc....

Close friends and fellow bronies are literally the only people who have ever shown me any kindness, even simple courtesy. I've been labelled nonsensically as someone even a complete stranger knows I'm not, and I'm sick of it.

All I know is pain, so you can either call me Phoenix or Pain, your choice.

I'll be starting Sparity Forever's sequel when I am able.... rather unsure at the moment whether I should bother completing the HSC at all, so perhaps that'll be sooner than expected.
