I think I may need to just hurry this chapter along. I've gotten back to working on it, and have tightened things up and gone on to write a little more, but I think I may need to content myself with "Time Passes", rather than filling the time with character-studying conversation.
On the plus side a few weeks ago I wrote a 1,100+ word poem related to the story, and also realized that a certain stand-alone story would be best done by working it into the plot of "The Two Deaths of Fluttershy".
On the minus side the poem is spoiler-y enough I won't be able to publish it for a while, and the short-story-turned-chapter can't come that much earlier.
In other news, one of my older, unpublished, stories may have become outdated, due to my headcanon regarding Twilicorn. So I might go ahead and publish that, since it wouldn't take anything away from "The Two Deaths of Fluttershy" to just hit the "Publish" button, and the flaws that originally kept me from publishing it aren't worth fixing since I would have to rewrite the whole thing to account for Twilicorn.

Thanks for the fave : D
I'm glad you enjoyed my story Gossamer, Gravity, and Greed.
Thanks checking out my story!!
Thank you, good sir/madame for favouriting "The Melancholy of Princess Luna: A Poem"! May the stars light your path, whomever you may be.
Love always,

Thanks for the Fav on Luna In Umbra Est. I love knowing people like my work
Thank you for the favorite.
While I lack the zeal that Shokinaw possesses, I would like to extend my gratitude by saying, "Thank you." Your support for "The Creatures that Came to Ponyville" via favoriting it has brought a smile to my face.
And if it interests you, I am not done with the story; I just have not had time to finish the next chapter.
The plot will thicken, I can assure you.

This is, hooves down, the most epic "Thanks for the Fav" my eyes have ever had the privilege to behold.
Legend tells of a great white serpent, winged, powerful, and wise whom natives of it's lands called Draco Dei. Large though it may be, they said it was eerily quiet as it trudged through the murky darkness of wasteland crevices and mountain caves. In these ancient holes it searched for buried riches and gems long lost to others.
As it carefully moved along, every now and then it would find one of the rare jewels it sought, but this legendary beast does not take this precious stone, hoarding it in selfish secret like others of it's kind. Instead it cautiously brought the sparkling piece of earth out into the sun, simply enjoying the sight of of the reflected light as it played upon the jewel's surface.
Then with naught but a claw mark, an imprint of it's thumb beside the stone, and a sign of a star to bestow it's favour onto the little jewel, the mythical creature would leave as silently as it had come. No words ever spoken, no comment given or needed, for now the search would begin anew, looking for more of the land's rare treasures, it's gentle cravings never truly gone.
(Thanks for the fave and thumb on Our Time to Fly!)
