Many writers aspire to make... well... great things. Or mediocre things, if you are happy with that. They do so to entertain. Their audience, or just themselves, that is up to them. But only a real writer writes not only for their audience, but themselves also. He writes so that he is happy with the result, to make the most effort to entertain the audience, and that makes him a good writer.
Why bring this up? Well, I have not been a good writer... In a sense. A good writer writes because it is their passion, because they enjoy it. I have lost both. I have no passion, no motivation to write my story. I do not find the same enjoyment as when I began. I have crossed the streams and caused some pretty heavy damage.
In a sense, I brought this on myself. I worked like any other writer does. I made plans. But I got too carried away. I made so many plans that it became impossible for me to write in a way that I liked. I rooted certain things so far in that it became impossible for me to change them without breaking a large portion of the story. I restricted my own self.
And because of this, I must be a deliverer of sad news.
I will stop writing Quest of a Nobody. This decision pains me, but I see it is for the best. I know I had many who followed the story. May who actually liked it. And for you that did, I am sorry... Those who hated it, on the other hand, can go piss in a mug that I will then proceed to insert into your tear ducts!
... Damnit, I'm digressing.
Quest of a Nobody will be completely deleted within the next 24 hours, or so.

You actually came down here? ... ... ... ... Okay.
But not all is sadness. For you shall be informed that I plan to make a NEW story!
While writing Quest of a Nobody for the Chessverse, I met a lot of amazing people. Most of them as batshit insane and eccentric as me, but whatever. I love the Chessverse too much to let it go, so yes. I am going to beat this particular dead horse, but not before getting it a new skin, intestines and a crappy sense of humor.
When a story ends, a new one will be born!
Quest of a Nobody will NOT disappear, but it shall live on, in a sense. It shall continue, but it just won't be the main attraction. It will live on in the sidelines, not that visible, but still there. So you can expect a few minor appearances and/or cameos.
This is all I have to say for now.
Signing out,
Doctor D, The Dark Divine
