My name is...

Well, actually, I'm not sure what my name is. I'm not sure who I am, where I am, or even why I exist. I seem to be able to speak a language, and to be able to understand it, but all these words lead into each other with such a superficial meaning. I speak of words that come from a world beyond me, and hold little meaning to me. My only wish is to discover what these words mean...

...but even from inside my colorless world, it appears there's a world that can be much better than my own. I like to think I'll see it one day. In fact, I saw a letter the other day. I'm not sure whether it was to me, or to some poor misplaced soul, but...it made me think that perhaps there was more to the world. And now I hunger for freedom, for knowledge, and for answers. I intend to find out who wrote that letter, and to find out who I am - it would appear they're waiting for me to do just that.

The fate of the world may or may not rest squarely on my hooves.

This story is HALF-interactive with the stories 'Applejack's Diary' and 'Rainbow Dash's Memoirs'.This is the master story for determining which canonical events are implanted into these two stories. This timeline is COMPLETELY self-reliant, and events from the other two may or may not occur in this universe, by law of choice.

Another storyline, branched off the chapter listed.

The Mane 6 have all grown up, and parted their ways. No harsh feelings were had, but as careers cropped up, the result was inevitable that they should drift apart. Only two remain in ready contact: Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle.

Yet on the latest dawn, it is a special day. These friends are about to meet for one final gathering, but what they don't realize is that one of the attendees won't be speaking that day...

Or ever again.

Because sometimes, we all feel beyond comfort. Because sometimes, the light seems so far away. Because sometimes, the fight seems futile.

Because sometimes, one pony can bring the light that much closer.
