Applejack has been in love with a certain pink mare with a puffy mane for quite a while now. Yes, She and Pinkie were inseparable. If you were to see Applejack, chances are that Pinkie was somewhere nearby. But something isn't right. Recently, Applejack has noticed some odd behavior from her pink lover. Distant gazes and unhappy faces when Pinkie thought that AJ wasn't looking have begun to make the southern mare ask questions. What is it that Pinkie Pie won't tell her?

This story is Applejack's perspective from Elaruki's story Just Because I'm the Element of Laughter..., done with her permission.

This is my first attempt at a shipping story, as well as a sad fiction, so please do leave comments! This story may not update frequently, but if I can, I will try to at least get a chapter out here and there. I hope you enjoy it!

(Sequel to 'The Lost Mercenary')

Ra'zaan and Nadene are home, or at least they're new home. Ponyville has welcomed the duo of bipeds with open arms after the events that occurred with Golam and the other mages. They've been living life as normally as possible for a while, and things are perfect. That is, until a blast from the ex-warrior's and ex-mage's past shows up uninvited. How will Ra'zaan and Nadene deal with the new developments? Who or what is this problem, and how did it get into Equestria? Can Ra'zaan and Nadene save the town and possibly the entire world from this new threat...?

As this is a Sequel, I'd advise any new readers to read 'The Lost Mercenary' before getting into this story, although it isn't required.

As with 'The Lost Mercenary', I plan to have scenes of violence in this. If this is not what you are wanting to read, then this may not be the story for you. At the present time, I don't see this being as full of fighting as the first, though.

When Ra'zaan, a mercenary Khajiit known for taking difficult jobs from the higher ups in Cyrodill, takes a job from the Mage's Guild's Arch-Mage to go investigate a disturbance near Anvil, he gladly excepts. what happens next is something that not even the Mage that sent him on this quest could see coming. Ra'zaan seemingly falls off the face of Nirn! He wakes up in a very unfamiliar place, and sees no way to return home. Where is he? How did he get here? ...How can he get home?....

(Warning! I plan to have quite a few instances of violence and blood-shed in this. If this is not your thing, please, do not read this story.)
