A Forbidden Doorway: Chapter Two - Extended · 9:32am

So, I know I promised chapter two today, and I am terribly sorry that I have to say I can't post it today. :applecry:

I do have good news, though. The first draft is nearly done(I'd say about 80%), and after that it is smooth sailing for the second draft, just rewording things to sound more poetic/prose-y and adding more description. So hopefully it can be up by Monday, to help you all through that most horrible of days. :raritywink:

There is one thing I must say, however. I must I apologise to all my readers who are below 18 years old, but I am going to have to up the rating to Mature. You shall be missed.

You see, when me and my friends came up with this story, we had some pretty crazy ideas. And because of those ideas, there is going to be some mature content in the story.

I apologise to those of you who are above 18 but do not wish to read Mature rated stories, you shall be missed as well.

As for those of you who are above 18 and wondering just what the hay I am talking about, and want to read more even if there is naughty things in it, just know that you are in for a world of awesomeness and hilariousness. :pinkiesmile:

Chrysalis may have been defeated, but that doesn't mean she is gone forever and eternally weak. She searches for a way to obtain extreme power and retake Canterlot through force. Along the way, however, she meets somepony from her past who may change her mind, and maybe even her heart, as he tries to keep her anger in balance for not only the sake of Equestria, but for him as well.

Meanwhile, tensions rise in Canterlot as Luna and Celestia argue over how to run Equestria, and ponies throughout Equestria choose a side in the matter, forming two regime-like parties: The Lunar Crusade, and The Solar Legion. Not only is everypony else divided in the issue, but the mane six are as well, and still try to hold their friendship together through the hard times Equestria is going through.

Author's Note: This story is set in an alternate universe where all technology is powered by cogs, steam, and oils. I know that it has been done before by RavensDagger with Of Steam, Gears, and Wings, but mine is less apocalyptic, and more of just a setting to add mechanical tools and inventions to Equestria, and to add the Lunar/Solar conflict. There are a couple of Noir elements as well, to add to the drama, and to create a more gothic style of setting.

Author's Note the Second: I have read the guide to the story genres recently made by Wanderer D, and have thusly decided to add a few extra genres to my story, and I have decided to create a small guide on which story arcs they are featured in below this. Alternate Universe shall not be added to the lists, as it applies to the story as a whole.
