A stallion sits alone in a moonlit cell, starring out on the grove beneath him as he dreams of freedom.

Fluttershy wakes up early in the morning with a throbbing headache and a broken leg, alone in the Sweet Apple Orchards, save for Rainbow Dash who she finds lying in a ditch. Together, the two of them go to the hospital and remember what exactly happened last night.

Daring Do and her trusty companion Risky Hooves travel through the dangerous Equadorian jungles in search of treasure... and maybe something more. Ponies have been known to do strange things in the tropical heat...

And now for something less formal; There is no Sex in this story! Beware! Or not! Whatever you decide! I'll probably do one or two more chapters, but that's it. Probably.

Despite brief periods of trouble, panic, or chaos, Equestria has always been a more or less peaceful place. Nopony has ever truly had to worry about famine, violence, or any real trouble short of a period of randomness and shenanigans. But the only constant in life is change, and on a perfect Ponyville day all the rules of life in Equestria suddenly change.

Rainbow Dash has fled to the Everfree, the fillies, colts, and baby dragon of the town in tow. Her heart is torn; she must hide and protect while her heart screams out to return to Ponyville, to fight for her friends and her country. At the same time new enemies are born, but are they truly as evil as they seen?

Is this the sunset of all Equestria? The dawn of a new age? Or simply another event in the history of a nation? Only time will tell...

On a less formal note, I'm a fan of Red Dawn, and it was kind of my primary inspiration for writing this. I will not, however, keep to the plot, at least not explicitly. I'm going to try and make this my own story, though there will be similarities and the occasional reference.

Mac goes out for a mysterious package late at night. What does it contain? What kind of fix does he need? How will Rainbow confront him? Not too long, so expect this to wrap itself up quickly.
