That's right everybody, today we're talking about one of my favorite series of all time, "Mobile Suit Gundam." Gundam a series that made its start in 1979, under the name "Mobile Suit Gundam", made by Yoshiyuki Tomino. The story of the series follows a war between Colonists in space and people on Earth. The main character of the series is kid usually who gets his hands on a Mobile Suit(Giant Robot), called "Gundam." The kid demonstrates a superior ability to pilot said machine and fights to protect his friends and defeat an evil menace.

I first got into Gundam back when one of the spin off series, "Gundam Wing", came on Toonami back in the 90s. I was instantly hooked, and followed it ever since. I've watched many of the TV series, played the games, read comics, and built the models that came with it.

But then I had a thought, "Surely there must be a Gundam/Pony crossover?" So I took a look, and I haven't found anything worth mentioning. The only one's I have found had a Gundam in them but hardly focused on that aspect at all. Usually one of the main characters shipping with Twilight. And who wants to see Amuro Ray kissing Twilight Sparkle? And to the person that would, I wasn't talking to you.

So a question for you guys, "What do you think of Gundam?" And would you want to see a Pony/Gundam crossover?

In a reality with infinite universes, things tend to become familiar and different all at the same time. And sometimes, two universes with a difference so great, can come together to form one by mistake. This is a story of one of those universes.

It is the year 1000 of the Celestial Era. Half a millennium has passed since Equestria began sending its ponies into gigantic orbiting space colonies known as “Sides”. The colonies created a new way of life where ponies would be born, be raised, and die.

But the furthest colonies from Equestria, known as “Side Luna”, proclaimed itself the Republic of the Night, and launched a war of independence against the Solar Imperium. In the early months of the war, both sides lost half their respected populations. Ponies were horrified by the atrocities that were committed in the name of independence. After eight months had passed, and both sides were in a stalemate, one mare has a faithful encounter with a Mobile Suit. Who will survive?
