It was the happiest I had been my entire life.

I was able to forget and move on. For the rest of my adolescent years I lived out my life in a satisfied stupor; careless to the rest of the world and only focusing on my friends and my job—most of the time. For three years I lived content and lazy in the beautiful town of Ponyville. I didn't expect that my life would be so full of adventure and fame. I only expected to escape my old life, but instead found something even more grand and beautiful than a mere vacation from my suffering.

I wanted more than anything to keep it from all falling apart.

It's not very often you find yourself in a life situation where you have nowhere to turn. It can be devastating if you're not sure who can help. Well, when the death of a loved one puts you out of house and home—literally—there is only one duo of perceptive poltergeist hunter ponies that you can trust. They'd appreciate it a lot, they don't get much business...

Have I always been loyal to my friends? No. There are things that they didn't know about me. Lots of secrets from the past that I've kept from everypony. I had a past full of disgrace, shame, and loneliness. Things that I wish had never happened. Only a few ponies know the truth. But I could only keep my past away for so long...

When Twilight and the rest of the wingless ponies thought it would be neat to cheer on Rainbow Dash at the Best Young Flyer's competition, they may have overlooked some minor details. Law details. Long story short, the mane six are now on the run, charged for terrorism in a locked down city. Twilight's in jail, and to make matters worse, they only have three days to get her out before the cloud spell wears off. It's hard enough making bail for acts against the city, but it's a lot harder when the only one's can help you are fugitives.

CanterlotGuardian and I decided to have a little friendly competition. The basis was a prompt that I thought of and posted in my blog: what would happen if it were illegal for non-pegasus ponies to step foot in Cloudsdale? So read mine, and his, and tell us both what you think!
