PISS OFF ALEX WHAT ARE YOU GRAMMAR KID DEFENDER OF AMERICAN ENGLISH????
I'm Alex, a Christian INTP geek and nerd who loves Marty James, Terry Pratchett, The Chemical Brothers, Homestuck, roleplaying, satire, grammar and linguistics, Jet Set Radio Future and TV Tropes. I try to be rad and unabashed.
This asks for me to describe myself in a "Biography" and I just list some endorsements. One might consider it silly, but I believe that they're meaningful to me.
For more of a "Biography" sort of thing, you could listen to the songs "Lost Cause" by Scapegoat Wax and "Pinch Me" by Barenaked Ladies. They're greatly artful music, and they describe me quite well.
I try to type thoughtful reviews when commenting on stories. I often send PMs of piles of grammatical corrections.
I aspire to be a high school language arts teacher; my favorite book, Up the Down Staircase, is about one. The man I most look up to as an inspiring role model is a calculus teacher I know.
I've been a proofreader and pre-reader; I'll try to help if asked, but I'm going to laze and procrastinate, so don't count on me.
My favorite pony used to be Twilight Sparkle because social ineptitude and because hay, yes, rationality, but roleplaying as Scootaloo and Rainbow Blitz have brought Rainbow Blitz Dash to be my favorite pony. Scootaloo's a great character, too (and "Sleepless in Ponyville" is the best episode of the show). She loves music so much but doesn't have talent in singing; how will she overcome that? Can she train her singing voice? Will she try to find other talents? Perhaps she could dance, or write songs, or play an instrument. And my OTP used to be TwiSpike; it's now Rainbow BlitzxBubble Berry.
My favorite punctuation mark is the em dash.
To intrigue me, write a story about possession or dissociative identity disorder or something: multiple minds being in one body. Ooh! Or changelings!
