The past few months have had a few ideas, and many that fell by the wayside. I had intended to do a grimdark done right, then wrote a chapter and realized that wasn't really possible. However, a few good ideas have come of it.

Pony history seems to be riddled with more holes than a changeling queen. Who can discern myth from propaganda from legend? Probably no one, but that doesn't stop us from trying...

For those who may be or may know someone interested in the grimdark chapter, you can find and comment on it here. As a grimdark, it would be rated at least Teen, and if I were to submit it to FimFic, I'd label it as Mature to be safe. Don't think it would be worth a gore tag, but I think it's more than a Teen rating allows.

Everyone knows of the big three grimdark of Cupcakes, Rainbow Factory and SAM. But what about the ones that don't see such a large audience, but are just as good, if not better? And I'm not just calling in all the best of the best grimdarks, give me the worst too, and stuff in between.

I'm going to try to see what it takes to make a god grimdark. From the three up there and whatever few I'll find on my own, I won't find much. But with a group who's already seen the gems and the trash, I'll be able to see what's been done to death, what's never been done, what could use a new spin, what never works, what always works, and in general what makes a grimdark tick.

Any and all grimdark recommendations are wanted. Let's hope I can keep my sanity after reading them all...

And after way too long, Other Side of the Rainboom draws to a close. Currently I've only got one story idea that I'm seriously working on, but I plan to have that one mostly finished before it hits the internet.So, baring any sudden idea one-shots, this will probably be the last you hear from me for a while.
