Everypony has a dark side to them. Something they fear, something that could destroy them. As a certain purple unicorn is forced to use dark magic, she finds her fears threatening to consume her...Along with the darkness inside.

This story occurs directly after the end of season 3: episode 2. If you haven't seen it yet, go and watch it before reading this story. (This story is my take on where i think they're going to go with that dark magic we saw, it wasn't used nor explained nearly enough in that episode.)

After returning from her advanced studies with Celestia, Twilight finds a strange and mysterious book with power over death itself. Soon she finds herself haunted by a strange creature that only she can see, and a nagging urge to test out the power of the book for herself. Driven by the spreading corruption, Twilight begins down a dark path that enevelops not only herself and her friends, but all of Equestria.

(This story does change some of the rules of the death note, though i will try to stick to the rules of it as i can)

Currently this is just a chapter from the story which I am working on, later on once I have gotten some of my other fanfics under control I will begin writing this story as proper from the beginning. But for now enjoy the preview (Likely a lot of this won't make sense due to it being a preview very late in the story, but i just started writing this part and couldn't stop.) Have fun speculating how this point was reached and an internet to whomever gets it right.

Applebloom and the rest of the Cutie Mark Crusaders have tried everything they can think of to get their cutie marks. But when they are introduced to a certain something called the internet, a whole new world of possibilties opens up for them.

(All references are to whoever originally created them, and yes, there are going to be a lot of references in this story.)

A quick one-shot at an idea i came up from being just as sleep deprived as Cherilee is here. I spent too much time thinking on the whole zombie ponies idea and then i started to do this. I actually debated calling this "Is that a zombie pony?" But decided against it, as that would have implied it was a crossover with "Is that a Zombie?"

This is my first attempt at comedy, or random, or anything not related to grim/dark type stuff, so any feedback on how this would be great.

(And yes, this is a completely blatant attempt to try and get the feature box, wish me luck.)
