I had a weekend away from the fam and actually had the time and inclination to write some pony. I did some edits to Ghosts and changed up the ending some more, leaving things a bit more open with Luna and Celestia. Perhaps one day I'll actually get to sit and write out the rest of Apoptosis.

936719 Hmm. Let me see. Well we have Friendship is Forever if going for funny, Twilight DONE!(And the prequel Daring DONE!) if going for more funny and then we have My Little OPony: Twilight is Magic for wtf-inducing levels of what.
Paper Tigers has a kinda interesting idea that is a pretty "Duh" idea at the same time. Of the Hive and the sequel For the Hive go for the Twilight didn't become a pretty princess but died and was reborn as a changeling, and Wise Beyond Her Years has one of the better conspiracy theories with Celestia NOT being the baddie.
Also it is really hard for me to find any favourites from my list of them that are not some kind of a "Every joke that can be made" For example; Crisis of Infinite Twilights takes it up to eleven.
So anyways, take your time, no rush. Family comes first

Barely.
I've been having a very hard 6 mo. since my baby girl was born. She's wonderful but takes up an unimaginable amount of time and effort. I'm the primary caregiver in our family so even after my wife comes home I can only then work on the "work" I couldn't do while taking care of the baby. Fun is just something I don't have time for anymore. Despite this, I do try to open up one of my stories every week or two and play with them for an hour or so. At that rate we'll be on season 5 before I finish my current stories.
Speaking of the show, proper. Season 4 has been a bit of a disappointment for me. I know its only natural for headcannons to get blown up but its hard for that not to suck the wind out of your sails. Any suggestions for short, well-written fics posted in the last 6 months to cheer me up?
